None of them took care of themselves like you do, partner. You'll still be here with the cockroaches and fallout after the bombs fall. Might be a bit lonely, but you'll still have your health.

Holy shit! Lot's of Twilight Zone fans on here! Decent!!! I grew up with the TZ marathons and it really shaped my taste for movies later in life. There are so many good epsiodes and the writing is so good I would be typing here forever if I went on about every favorite episode of mine. But my all time favorite is probably still "The Dummy", everything about it is perfect, the cinematography and angles, the way it;s written, the lighting...etc. "maybe you're the one who need glasses..."

As a collector of prop replicas, I'm totally going to try to replicate old Willy.

All episodes mentioned so far are excellent. Hell, most were great.

But does anyone remember the Dennis Weaver execution one, or am I imagining it?

The one where it's like a dream of his execution and different variables keep changing but the dreams plot stays the same?

Stuff basically made up of nightmares, I've had dreams like that. That seem to repeat and you always know what happens next.

I've seen that episode a few times...can you imagine that?...just looping the same dream over and over again for eternity????....CRAZY CONCEPT...Rod Serling was definitely a genius....The funny thing is he died very young....cancer I think.....and he died unhappy.....he was ostracized from the TV business.......I think he was making a big stink about how the quality of TV was going downhill due to poor writing and TV catering to idiots instead of having strong dramas and intelligent writing like he used to do......

and Rod's "Planet of the Apes" movie was awesome.....only a genius like him could come up with that amazing twist ending which not only shocked the hell out of you but made you think about where we as mankind are heading..........toward self-destruction

Oh by the way ANOTHER very strong episode was the one where the braggart took on the bet by an older rich gentleman to not talk for one year in exchange for 1 million dollars.....the ending was shocking and amazing.......huge twist that made you go HOLY FUCK!..I don't want to give away the ending for those who haven't seen it

Seems a lot of talented artists are often unhappy. Maybe that's what inspires their art.

I remember that one..also there was one where the sun didn't come up in the morning and the world was shrouded in darkness due to all the hate in the world...that concept of the sun never coming up again scared the fuck out of me

Got the boxed set of that one too Bob.........if they had a better budget for the shitty special effects it would have been even better.

I also have every episode of The Alfred Hitchcock Hour and Boris Karloffs "Thriller".

I`m an old school motherf ucker!

Don't forget Night Gallery, The Sixth Sense and Hammer House of Horror, among MANY other shows of that time (Darkroom, Tales of the Unexpected, Ghost Story/Circle of Fear, Tales from the Darkside, etc.)
