What I learned from my travels is that in all of these groups and even others, there's a small number of cool people that are fun and decent to be around and have a drink or 10 with and a good laugh, other than that it's best to keep yourself to yourself.

Italians : Hot temper

Greek: They had a great civilization, ONCE (in ancient times)

French: Snobby, drink wine a lot and kiss cheeks.

UK: Bad dentalcare and subpar women. (Very ugly women)
Best thing with UK are the posh upperclass brits who smoke pipe.

You watch too much Sherlock Holmes and British period TV dramas

Those (Hammer-movies, Sherlock Holmes, British period TV-dramas) are the best things that ever came out of the UK, depicting Britain when it was in it's prime. Smokejackets, Slippers, Pipe, sitting in front of the fireplace reading a good book whilst the wife is cleaning the house.

UK was great back in the 70s and 80s when i visited London.

Oh and my favorite TV-shows Emmerdale Farm and Keeping up Appearances are what's giving me hope that UK will return to it's former glory without Knee growths and Mosques someday in the future.

Mosques and kneeguls are just another problem added to the list in recent decades. UK had and still has its problems and these have nothing to do with immigration, the below pic is a common sight in many parts in the UK but you haven't seen this in your visit to London whilst riding a tourist bus sight seeing houses of parliament, St Pauls Cathdral...etc:

We haver the highest obesity rate in Europe, this isn't driven up by immigration, quite the opposite

Children of immigrant back grounds actually score much better in schools as well

Teenage pregnancies highest in Europe, this isn't driven up by immigration either

there's many issues facing the UK, we have a class system still and there's a huge divide between north and south, immigrants added another twist to it but all in all it isn't the main problem nor the fix for everything although we have a tendency to simplify solutions and blame and point the finger, the picture as a whole has many angles.

Well, i had a most jolly good time when i was in London back in the 70s and 80s.

Didn't know about the current obesity-problem although i had my thoughts concerning this after watching a few pictures from "The Pig 'n' Whistle" club in Newcastle Upon Tyne. My first thoughts were, how did it go this far?

I saw signs of both Obesity and a very bad dentalcare + bad hygiene and lack of common sense in those images.

Good thing this will never reach London i thought.

Then the chav-phenomenon emerged a few years later. Chavs and Geordies.

Whatever happened with the classy Britain?

There were no more Basil Rathbones around.

Totally agree - Britain was something unique and special... full of unique and brittle charme. My favorite getbigger/Brit from the 70/80ies is Sir Clive Sinclair... hilarious and genius at the same time and wields that nasal/aristocratic accent.

the UK is now not the country of my youth.. people were hard but also respectful and respect you earned in your comunity. was more compassion too. sadly we have a fuck wit for a Prime Minister. The Argentinians are now getting Russian long range Bombers from Putin thanks to the UNs embargo... Our UK Prime Minister is cutting back troops, Armour,Ships... just a matter of time before Argentina attacks. Cameron should be taken out to sea and weighted and fed to the Crabs.

There's a class system in the UK, those pipe smoking posh people you talk about would not be caught dead next to a blue collar worker from Manchester for example, and they are a small percentage of the UK population.

Watch an episode of Shameless, this is a proper through and through British made sitcome set in Manchester, it depicts the run down areas of Manchester, a residue from industries killed off by Margaret Thatcher leaving many people just above poverty line with no other alternative industries around.

The posh ruling class have looked after London as a working hub and surrounding areas for the affluent who works in London/with business interests in London, the rest is left to fend for themselves, some do ok some have done very well but many have been left behind and created a new sub class of chavs....THEN add to it the fuck up with poor immigration policy and here we are.

It's a sad state of affairs Skorp! I sure hope the brits manage to turn it around.

Change things for the better.

But then again, things i could never imagine in the 80s to have happen have now happened to Sweden, so nothing is impossible.

Brits are entrepreneurial and great achievers by nature. We just need to rid the country of this class system and the snobbery of the ruling class and even out the country out so more and more northern cities can become affluent. Some parts of Manchester are really nice but not enough as massive areas back to back are filled with shitty housing and chavs roaming around with nothing to do but cause problems.

We don't need whole areas of immigrants either, I see Asians over here and I wonder how all the parents, grand parents, uncles and distant cousins are all over here? we just let in whole clans and tribes in instead of vetting each person on their own by merit and what they can bring in.

Brits are not racist, if there was immigrants coming in in drips blending in and doing their bit. But whole areas that look like Islamabad and others that look like Kingston Jamaica is just something not needed. This again is caused by the ruling upper class, increase migrants disguises economic statistics as positive...Labour Party (Tony Blair) thrived on this, in the end they don't have to suffer as they have country manors far away in West Sussex and get to keep their jobs with a pat on the back.

Re imigration in uk, the eastern blockheads are totally fucking up our trades, working for peanuts in unsafe conditions, local lads are no longer trained up as they just swamp jobs with cheap foreign labour... This isn't helping the already shitty situations in the north

AT the time labour predicted 60,000 would come, in one year over 300,000 turned up.

Whilst many countries like Germany let them in BUT did not allow them to work hence had no real reason to come in.

How did labour under estimate this where at the time Polish unemployment rate was a staggering 18.5% is beyond me....what do they teach these Etonians other than a baseless feeling of superiority.

Bouquet Residence!!

Never did I imagine my post would result in a picture of Hyacinth Bucket being posted ;D That era produced an endless supply of great comedies.

Watching some of these programs its hard to believe how much the country has changed that they no longer seem to be a reflection of British life.

Sadly, due to our shared language, the UK has taken only the bad parts of American culture and absorbed it fully. Reality TV, fast food, Ghetto culture. Go to most towns and you will see every other teenage girl with her boyfriend "Jamal" on her arm, with matching hoodies and base ball caps. The more quiet reserved Brit has been replaced by brash, loudmouth arrogant tossers covered in fake tan and tattoo's. Mixed race children from single mothers is one of the biggest growing populations, along with children from ethnic "minorities". The number of children born to non white British is already a majority so its just a matter of time before the face of the nation changes.

At the end of the day there will be no return to former glory, that's the course of things. Look at all the great empires, they grow, they maintain and eventually they decline. Thats whats happening to the UK.

Good summary, although your statement wasn't quite accurate, most of the stats on the majority ethic populations in the UK have shown the following trend in terms of academic achievement:

1. Chinese
2. Indian
3. White
4. Pakistani
5. Black

Its like this in every area of business from blue collar to white collar. lets just outsource everything to whoever is cheapest.

The crazy thing is the actuall same situation is happening in the Eastern European countries. In Romania you will find Vietnamese and such like as the corporates there have realised they can do the same thing and get people who will work for even less than Romanians. In Lithuania they are looking to create a visa system so they can get workers from china and Thailand to work there. Its like a cascade effect.

Lol I think you answered your own question ;D It teaches these toff turds to look after number one, and to consider the public, who they will rule, as merely cattle who's only purpose is to generate their income.
