I wonder what kind of shape Larry Scott was in 1980. He’d be turning 42 eight days after the show which seems kind of old for competitive bodybuilding back then. Upon further schmoesearch, I see he made a comeback of some sort and didn’t place well in ‘79

Oh and one last thing . Arnold NEVER worried about Methhead Mike. He in fact didn't worry about any of them. They were all good but Arnold knew he was better. His mind set never let him think otherwise except once with Sergio. So no he wasn't worried. He knew zane couldn't because zane called him for advice after he got his balls cut from a lawn chair. He NEVER put down Mikes training or anyone elses. He always said that "mike found a training system that worked for him" and things like that. He did say that people like Methhead and franco both have powerful looking bodies but when they flex nothing really changes. He said they need to do more sets more reps more exercises and train more often to give their body a different look ( or something like that) and it is true. He wasn't putting them down but bodybuilders who trained like Arnold and the rest had more "pop" in the poses. Look at these bag of shits nowdays. They all look the same and they don't "pop" when they pose. And wtf is this posing with their tounges all hanging out and pushing their legs against each other and straining. Looks like they are constipated and trying to take a shit. Posing should be gracefull and asthetic and smooth and look like they are not flexing hard etc. Bodybuilding is dead and its because of the rich schmoes and other idiots who just want to see "freaks".
Ok guys this the last time I tell you this. CBS was NOT there!!! Arnold told people he was going to do the commentary for CBS ( wide world of sports) because they were asking if he was going to compete ( he was getting big again for the movie Conan). So he told them that. Plus when they would have seen him on the plane they would have been suspicious as well. Plus he didn't want the sissy nancies pulling out of the show if they knew he was competing and then ruin it for the promoter. So they did NOT know until Arnold showed up to the athletes meeting. Then everyone knew they lost and got all pissed. He beat them before he even got on stage . Bunch of weak people. There now there should be no more discussion on if CBS was there. They were NOT. And Dorian? Again a person who has nothing but bodybuilding. Everyone wants to be like Arnold. Rich movie star famous etc. But Arnold knew back then there was no money in bodybuilding. He used it as a stepping stone. He won 1000 dollars for all of his olympia wins except in 1980. And then only because he was increasing prize money at his contests. So he worked his ass off to get where he is. He got bodybuilding to be popular. He went on tv . Talk shows commercials . He did charity work. He was already a millionaire in the early 70s from his real estate and other business ventures outside of bodybuilding. These people like meth head and dorian and coleman and pretty much everyone else thinks they will be Arnold just by winning a contest. Then sitting around waiting for everything to fall into their lap. Smh. Then they retire and have nothing. Their bodys are shot. They have no real income and have to do personal training etc. Dorian is full of shit. He was a chemical experiment taken to the extreme and looked what happened. No one knows who the fuck he is outside of bodybuilding. He thought Arnold dissed him when Arnold said this " and this guy from england comes over and wins the olympia and then goes back to england and no one knows who he is" Dorian took that as a insult. He thought he was on Arnolds level or even "above" it. Smh . When Arnold said that he was talking about how bodybuilding is dying. No one is doing anything for the sport like he did. ( tv shows commercials prison seminars charity events etc ) There so now everyone knows
