Mentzer looked great in that contest but he didn't come in second, third or fourth. He came in fifth. Hard to argue he deserved to win. I know there is a lot of hate for Dickerson for being gay.  He had a sick long career of competing but during the late 70's and early 80's few could beat him when he was on.  1980 he deserved second and I could hear an argument for first. He had a density others didn't have. Arnold in some pictures looks lacking but watching the videos he's clearly better than the field even being at 80% of his former self. Doesn't matter what we say. He won and it's over.
