Non of them was fixed actually. You can see the scoresheets  of both 80 and 81 and its pretty clear they weren't "fixed".  Franco didn't deserve to win in 81 though.

Exactly. The scoresheet from 1980 shows that it was pretty close between Arnold, Dickerson and Zane. Arnold may have had "friends" on the judges panel but not all of them had him in first place. He won yes but by a margin.

Arnold got booed by the audience after he was announced the winner. Quite a surprise since Arnold was popular in Sydney since he had posed here several times in the seventies. He wasn't happy about that and the MC urged the crowd to acknowledge the winner and eventually they did applaud Arnold. I had a gym member take a movie of the finals and presentations and he got so excited about Roger Walker being in the posedown that he kept stamping his feet and ruined the film. I still have that film and the audio should be there. Will see if I can retrieve the audio and post it here. This will be evidence about how loud and long the booing lasted.

Royalty is mistaken about no one thinking Arrnold deserved to win. Lots of people did. I wasn't surprised but I really didn't compare them like the judges did.

That claim that Arnold and Paul were sexually involved is preposterous.

Ok. Have two home gyms that I train in. Doing masters athletics in throwing so need to get stronger. The other guys my age have lost a lot of muscle. I managed to keep most of mine.

I won all the throws in the Australian Masters over 80 in 2023: Discus, Javelin, Shot Put, Hammer, Heavy Weight Throw, and Throws Pentathlon.

This year I had a torn hamstring from my first throw but ended up with two gold and 3 silver and a bronze.

Will turn 82 in September. Might post a photo update then.

The fact is Arnold won and even if he didn’t win he still would have beaten Mentzer and Frank easily

I'd say Dennis Tinerino was definitely screwed that day. His condition was awesome.  Didn't have the best shape but he was tall and wide and sliced.
