Exactly - no Steelers or Giants fan would trade anything with the Pats.

Everyone hates NE....this was proven with the insane amount of attention this got, the ESPN polls, and the fact that so many ex players weighed in.

It's not because anyone is jealous of their division titles in the last 10 years either.  It's the arrogance of the coach, the fans, and the cheating.

All fans are arrogant. Philly fans are said to be the worse.

And lets be honest, fans would be just as arrogant if their team dominated. Its pretty much the nature of sports. People brag and act like dicks when their team wins. Then when they lose, they act all humble and meek. But when they are on top, its a whole different story.

I get that, but I've lived in various parts of the country and there's been NOTHING close to boston sports fans in terms of arrogance and homerism.  It's a disease.

Yankee fan here - money definitely plays into the Yankee hate.  No doubt about it.  When they get the player other teams covet, it makes them despised.

To that I say, too bad.

What does everyone say about living in America? Just work a little harder, and you, too, can be rich.

Let the other teams work harder to increase their revenue so they can buy better players. Its just an excuse. These teams need to pick themselves up by their American bootrstraps and make it happen, instead of complaining!

Im sort of being facetious.

Same here. And I am not that big of a sports fan to begin with, and I agree that some fans are worse than others.

I agree.

If the Yankees have a financial advantage within the rules and fail to utilize it, they're bad businessmen.  Baseball's comp structure is the issue, not the Yankees.

From what I have heard, there is no cap in terms of salary in the MLB.  ??? ???

So, the yankees have more money than other team. Okay, so? Is that reason to hate a franchise? Doesn't make much sense to me.

Which MLB team has had more success than the yankees?  :-\ :-\

Kevin Levrone made MILLIONS, do you hate him?  ::) ::) :D :D ;D ;D

it gives them a huge competitive advantage when they have a payroll over 200 million and others have one that is less than 80 million

there's a reason the other sports have a salary cap to prevent teams from larger cities having that advantage

why is that hard to understand?

Its not hard to understand. But let the other teams generate more revenue to buy better players. Its like complaining that the guy down the street makes more money because he chose to endure 4 years of residency to become a neurosurgeon.

Every team has every chance to generate more revenue to get better players. Not too sure why you would hate a person/organization because they make more money.

We live in America!! Anything is possible!!

But okay!!

please explain how a team in pittsburgh or cleveland can generate the revenue of a team in new york or LA when they are more than 10 times bigger

and i know you're not a sports fan (aside from bodybuilding)

it's obvious

Ill try to answer your question:

1) We know that you don't have to live in a particular state to be a sports fan. I think Cleveland owners need to reach out to cleveland fans across America!! This will generate more revenue!

2) Increase the price of hot dog and beer at the stadium.

3) Increase ticket sales.

4) Increase the price of merchandise.

We all know the obsession of sport fans, and they will definitely pay more.

I pretty much just solved the issue.

Large market teams have such an inherent advantage.  Nothing KC does will put them on par financially.  That's why there's revenue sharing and luxury taxes.

The problem with the small market teams is, they take those $$ as profit instead of reinvesting.  This makes a bad situation worse.

This superbowlis going to be like an election.  I don't give a fuck who wins.  Don't want to see smug ass Sherman win again and don't want to see the fucking patriots win again.  Would love to see it end in a tie and both team choke on soft balls.

It was the Colt's ball boy...
The Patriots sent the Boston area youth to Indy at a very young age. He's been on the Pats' payroll since he was 5 years old. They knew it would pay off in the future.
Patriots have strategically placed youngsters all over the US with devious plans in mind.

The NFL is a socialist league.  Every team on opening day starts with $100 million in profit from TV revenue.  They don't give any of the players that money.  They get a piece of ticket sales and merch.  Guys like Jerry Jones brokered a side deal with Nike when the league at the time used Reebok.
Baseball is a little different.  The Yankees have the money from the YES network they started.  Mets followed and then Dodgers and Angels did.  Same deal with NBA.  NHL is one of the few that has very little revenue sharing so it's a deal where what you make is what you get.
The reason why some teams like Cleveland and Cinci in the NFL seem to be at a disadvantage is not because of the city being small. it is cheap ass owners not using the salary cap as they should.  They are trying to pocket more money and care more about money than championships.  Guys like Jones, Kraft etc... are already billionairs that make plenty of cash outside of the NFL and want to swing their little dicks with championships

Love how I see all these Pats fans these days.  Same with Seahawks but where were they all pre-Brady days?  never ever met a Pats fan 14 years but now they're all over the place.

reminds me of one time I walked into a sports bar when the Packers won the Superbowl.... Never saw so many Green Bay jerseys in New York in my life, but ask them who is the starting running back,  and you are met with a blank stare

When Brady leaves and Bellicheck leaves all Pats fans will be hiding in a corner looking for the next "it" team to root for.

Blount was a fumble machine in PIT.  All 3 Patriot RBs are perfect.

I'd say they won a game or three more this year because they used flatter balls, no doubt about it.  The 1-handed catches made so easily by Gronk lol...
