Well, I'm happy to be subsidizing your healthcare costs. Sadly, my family's yearly costs are 18k out of pocket before the mandated insurance monies kick in. Because of that and as a 1099 contractor by family is currently without insurance using cash only doctors. My family includes a 1 year old little girl...whom I'm sure doesn't mind going without so a grown man who is fully capable of earning a real living gets other people's tax dollars.

Sounds like a super shitty plan. Do you have a super high income? Not having health insurance can be financially very dangerous.

A month.. my employer covers the rest..
Family plan
Wife , son, and me

85/15 medical coverage
Eye and dental also included..
Company paid life insurance...

I work as an independent contractor, so I have to pay my own but a least I get a free car.
