I read the article, but I've never really watched the show. My understanding is the people who loses the most weight, respectively to their initial weight wins. It's a contest based on reality tv?
Her complaint was her harsh treatment and monitoring of all her actions? I don't think it was exactly Auschwitz. One contestant had a family issue but choose to stay because the contest would have gone on without him; interestingly enough Trent Richardson of the Colts won't play the Patriots today because of a family issue, no one suggested postponing the contest this evening.
She felt duped and abused by a TV show, I get that. She thought her trainers cared about her health, they didn't; if she took the advice to smoke so she could sur press her appetite then she's the idiot. For the trainers it's a CONTEST I'm sure the producers were encouraging them to get them to get extreme weight loss goal, they played the two groups against each other.
If you posted this on an automotive board I could see you getting the reaction you wanted. You posted it here where we know about the dirty secrets of "health and fitness".
With all your experience and contacts I'm surprised you are shocked by the smoke and mirrors of television. Did you think the show picked the trainers based on their morals?
