Ohhhh. Where did you see/get that? I would love to get it for my son. Astronomical size comparison is very hard to transmit to kids.

My son is convinced that he can solve artificial gravity and build star drives. He just needs to get through Common Core math first

This is the crab nebula, a star that exploded 800 years ago. Astronomers estimate that there is enough dust swirling around to build 40000 earths. Mind boggling.

Why? Its a waste because you will just tell them that Scientists don`t know what they are talking about, global warming is a myth and then proceed to vote and support people who think the universe is 6000 years old and that "god did it" and nothing evolved.

Just buy him an Iphone instead.

He thinks Climate Change is a sham and that 99 percent of scientists don`t have it right on that issue. So I think he could choose a better gift more in line with his values.

The vastness of space is truly mind-boggling.....light years especially.....it amazing that space is so vast that it could take 100,000 years to get to another solar system...and that's if we were traveling the speed of light...AMAZING

Also...it always fascinates me as to EXACTLY WHAT was here BEFORE the Universe
