When I was in high school there was a Coney Island style chili dog stand at the bus stop. I would buy one almost every day after school. Did chili dogs change my life?

I suspect they increase lifespan.  What is your age?

Beyond old....halfway to my 71st year in this life. You might be onto something there.

Good old fashioned Coney style chili dogs are tough to find. In Portland there is a restaurant/stand called Roake's who still serve them. Whenever I'm nearby, I have to go there. http://www.yelp.com/biz/roakes-portland-2

In most cases it took a man and a woman to make a baby. The fact that one of those parents bailed on their offspring is a sad affair. My opinion on single moms is pretty much the same as it is on single dads; it is hardest on the children and not so great for the single parent.

Great coney island dogs. I think there is also one on Columbia Blvd.

Good to know if I get out on the Columbia river for some sun and swim time next summer. Looked it up, it is actually on Lombard Pl. and not very close to the beaches near the airport. The "hole in the wall" Roake's on McLaughlin is the original location. It is still a composite of metal trailers welded together....very funky. Apparently, the Roake's on SE 82nd avenue is no longer there. Probably became a hooker hang out. LOL!

I think 82nd closed a Lon long time ago. I remember it tho. There was also one in gresham but is now called Annie's but pretty much has the exact same food. I'll have to stop by the one in Milwaukee next time I'm out there. Someone also said I should visit mikes drive in when I'm out that way.

Yes. It manifested itself into you taking them up your ass later.

Out of curiosity having been looking round on plenty of fish, I'd say at least 90% of women in my age (31) seem to have kids. Would be slim pickings finding one without.

It's best when female is 5-10 years younger anyway.

Exactly.  Women are doing it to themselves and most don't even realize it.  Their sense of entitlement blinds them.

This was the failed argument point against gay marriage in the recent supreme Ct debate.

BUT, most people think the default position is marriage WITH children. I didn't agree.
my wife and I are happy without kids  and so are many couples with kids. Win/win

my point is you are not as much of an "accident" if your parents had you when they were married

What if she left you? Would you be happy to have your children live with you full time?

My ex wife did leave, & I have 2 great sons who stayed with me.
Aged 7 & 12 at the time.
Single mum's a lot more common than single dads.
No easy answer as with most things so many different variables
To take into account.
It wasn't as hard too find a girl friend as i thought it might be,
Being as I was 50yr Young Man with 2 young sons.
Then again I wasn't out there looking, it just happened.

I would say it was tough going for anyone man or woman to take
On in a parental role another man or woman's children.

Oh I had been married 18yrs before our breakup.
Life, you never really know what it may throw at you.

I would entertain a middle class divorcee who now has it all, big house big car....etc. They tend to be hungry for fun some it dirty. Wouldn't go beyond the "fun" stage though as ill be selling my self short .

I dated one, mid 30s her ex husband  was a 50 yr old business  man. She would book us in 5* hotels and restaurants and weekends  away....etx she was catching  up on lost fun times . Did her firsr ever anal with me, she came so hard she  cried from pleasure lol . Got attached after and bexame hardbwork so I gently let her go.

Always avoided.

Too much headache with kids involved. And their kids are always priority over you(as it should be)

To get the answer you would have to ask her.

What she said to me was.
1, not in love with me anymore.
2, got no joy from the children.. :o
I found that very difficult to take on board
From A Mother.

I later found out she was seeing someone else.

She Does see the Boys Every wknd.
And the Important bit is they are Both Happy.

It is hard to understand when a parent abandons their children. It is good that your boys had you. Hopefully, your ex wife found whatever it was she thought she was missing in her life. Chances are though, she is still unhappy. Happiness comes from within. Selfish people don't have much capacity for a happy life.

Of course it is my opinion based on what little I see of her & what my lads say
( I don't get into asking them )
It does not appear she is any happier.

Although financially fcukd & earning a lot less, My Life is Good.
Hopefully extra wealth & some nice material possessions will come.
