I'm not sure why everyone has the idea that pacquiao is some sort of good guy hero...not that i'm personally morally outraged by most of his stuff, but he's a compulsive gambling, drinking, drug taking womaniser just like everyone else. He's cheated on his wife jinky a million times, even fathered an illicit kid to some whore. He's a corrupt politician who owes millions in taxes and bribed his way into office and associates with the worst murdering scum in the filipino political world, and he's an animal abuser that loves making chickens fight to the death.
He's also a liar that completely dodged the mayweather fight the first time because he was on a good winning streak with his drug taking and knocking the hell out of floyd's leftovers.

Floyd clearly acts like the most annoying manchild on earth, partly due to selling tickets and partly because he maybe is a genuine asshole, but i'm not sure how much of his woman beating stuff is true. If he did it then fuck him, but the one he went to jail for looks like he genuinely didn't hit her but had to plead no contest.

::) what's the problem? Sounds like he'll make a good bber with that lifestyle

PACK MAN FOR THE WIN

Who can get behind mayweather, what a boring boxer and ignorant personality.

Floyd's the highest paid athlete in all of sports, wouldn't have got to that stage if he didn't play the character he does.
if he didn't then he'd be another Andre Ward.

call him ignorant but people pay to watch him lose - he never does! he knows how to make money and history.

boring? he's broke record after record for highest grossing fights - both PPV sales and gates.
his style can be boring but still people pay to watch him more than any other.

i reckon he'll get a late tko against Pac man.
i think Pac man will actually look to counter Floyd but as it goes on he'll get a bit desperate and go on the front foot, FMW will pick him off and do a Marquez late on.
Marquez is a good counter puncher, FMW is the best counter puncher.
neither of them have got a tko or stoppage for a long time.
10 fights for Manny without a stoppage
6 for Floyd.

Mayweather will win a decision, Manny will want to fight, Gayfeather will want to run/out point...

One thing's for certain imo, the fight will go the distance. Neither of these guys are knocking each other out.
Paquaio's volume might be enough for the judges to sneak him the decision but Mayweather is the safer bet.

weak undercard though apart from Santa Cruz and Lomachenko and even then they should both easily win.

Rigondeaux, Lomachenko and GGG three best pound 4 pound come next year.
Lomachenko is just a class act, better amateur record than GGG even.

True believers always lose, so floyd is going to school pacquiao.

I vision pacquiao getting few beautiful and hurtful shots in, but floyd will finish stronger and win a decision that everyone agrees on.

You nailed it. Mayweather will run every round and throw punches in bunches that will have zero effect on Manny. It will go the distance with Mayweather getting the decision because of the amount of punches he will throw when he isn't running. Manny will be frustrated the entire fight.

I'm just hoping Manny will connect and knock him out cold.

you got it the wrong way round, Manny throws punches in bunches - he has one of the best engines and work rate in boxing, Mayweather averages a very low amount of punches per fight in comparison not only to Manny but every top 10 welter.
he relies much more on punch accuracy than punch volume. Manny the opposite, most of his stoppages have been from the overwhelming volume of punches he throws.

Mayweather averages 448 punches per 12 rounds
Manny averages 777 punches per 12 rounds

but Manny lands 35% on average, Mayweather lands 46%

in their last 5 fights, opponents only landed 28% of their total punches against FMW
opponents landed 34% punches against Manny

while FMW's legs look like they've slowed, his hands damn sure haven't and with his 5" reach advantage and better use of his jab, Manny will have a tough job getting on the inside without being stung by a counter.

My thoughts exactly.  I would really like to see Mayweather get his head taken off, but it probably isn't going to happen.

Vegas says Mayweather missed THREE training days this past week due to exhaustion or unspecified injury.

fight will be boring, if it's close they give it to mayweather, right?

of course, there's more $ to be made with a rematch if Pacq wins, but would Money's ego allow that?

Have they said what time this specific fight will happen?  I don't feel like watching the undercard.

how crazy would that be?  Roach is one of the top trainers in the world, but a Pacq guy too.  Could just be playing head games.

what would be worse for Mayweather?  pulling out of the fight of the decade, or losing it badly?

Showtime, HBO sue to stop piracy of Mayweather-Pacquiao fight

Pay-per-view providers Showtime and HBO filed a joint lawsuit against two companies the premium cable networks claim were planning to pirate the signal of Saturday's Floyd Mayweather Jr.-Manny Pacquiao fight.

The welterweight title unification bout at MGM Grand is expected to shatter boxing revenue records, including the record 2.52 million buys that Mayweather's 2007 split-decision victory over Oscar De La Hoya generated on HBO.

The joint Showtime-HBO venture will cost $89.95 for standard definition and $99.95 for high-definition, positioning it with estimates of 3 million buys to double the record $150 million in sales from Mayweather's 2013 majority decision win over Saul "Canelo" Alvarez on Showtime.

In a joint statement, the networks said of their copyright infringement complaint, "BOXINGHD.net and SPORTSHIP.org are promoting unauthorized free streams of our intellectual property. As content creators and distributors, we believe that combating piracy and stopping content theft is crucial to maintain our ability to provide our customers with world-class programming like the Mayweather-Pacquaio fight."

According to reports, the lawsuit seeks a temporary restraining order and an immediate injunction to shut down the sites until the fight is complete.

Someone should sue HBO and Showtime for not having an HD only feed.  Who the fuck still uses SD TVs?
