Agree. Be honest but professional. Not petty or childish - they won't take you seriously if you're being emotional and inflammatory.

Also, there's generally nothing to be gained from being unnecessarily shitty to someone. It's a small, small world, and you just never know what life may throw at you.

You want to compensate years of being humiliated by a a few seconds of what you calls glory by telling him what he already knows about himself? That's the situation of alot of workers and maybe the situation of your boss too because he has another boss. This is bureaucracy. Probably going to be treated the same way in your new job and will relief all the humiliation by humiliating others getbiggers, because you can't do it in real life, then at your final day of your job you will think about a revenge on your boss and share it on getbig. You can't decide yourself if it's worth doing it so you ask for opinions on getbig. It's the situation of the actual workers, they can't decide by themselves and all they know is take orders from their higher boss. Bureacracy produced people like you that can't make decisions.

I for one will NEVER EVER work for anyone other than myself in the first place.
This is coming from someone who has had over 40 jobs in his life from working at McDonald when I was 16 to being Sales Director for a multi million pound telecoms giant.

The reality of it is whenever you work for anyone you have to be making them 10 times more money than yourself? Why do it?
You have to work the way they want you to work, their schedule, their politics, their agenda? Who said you have to do this?

Who said you have to be a 9-5'er?? Is it cos you learned it from your parents? Cos its was the norm? Cos it was acceptable?

I posted all about my history in menial , low wage jobs in a previous post.
Now, after many years, I now work teaching physics in a small college.
I only make a base salary of 70k, but I have tenure, great benefits and enjoy my job, so wtf.

Yes I read your thread which was very interesting and enjoyable.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with working for someone or an organization IF you enjoy and like it.
However the issue is many people simply have not experienced the alternative of working for themselves or being in business.

So you love teaching Howard? That's awesome.
But I bet my bottom dollar you would enjoy it so much more if you owned your own school or had your own college.


The reality is many people don't EVEN enjoy their work or like their employers.
They do what they have to do to pay the bills.
Trouble with that mentality is they never get anywhere in life and always have to rely on the hand that feeds them.
They lack ambition, cannot takes risks.

No risk = no reward.
This cowardice to the corporate world is what sets them back
