Adam is there anything you or your family could do to help our guy out?  You wouldn't have to donate a truck per say but perhaps you could fly him out to NC and have him wash your Lotus, do yard work, walk the dogs, and other chore type activities,  until he's got enough to buy something respectable.  We're only talking 2/3 months tops. You could even charge him rent for living in the guest quarters and have him reimburse the plane ticket!

You could also have him dress in full football uniform and march around your city with a sign that says "WOMEN BE WARNED: Men perversely enjoy watching other men dress this way."

I always had a full time job I never called in or messed up at work. I always had money of my own. My parents did help me a lot but they didn't do everything for me. Have some pride man.
