i think we all did what the OP did on our first real cut

i remember years ago when i really dieted for the first time

read alot on the internet, came to the conclusion that a keto diet would work best, added some ECA for appetite suppression, but continued to hit the gym 5 days a week for like 2 hours straight (back in the day, lol)
all that on 1500 kcals a day MAX
ate like 3-4 times a day, a normal meal was like a can of tuna with some mayonaise

after 3 days i felt like death
i remember one time i nearly passed out during squats

was a walking zombie 24/7, only thing that kept me alive was the ephedrine
i dunno how long i kept doing that but i think after 3 or 4 weeks i had enough lol

nowadays i just hit tren+t3+sibutramine, try to keep calories as low as possible (which usually pans out to 2000-25000 a day), do some cardio here and there and when i cant stand it anymore and break down ill just have a huge cheat day (maybe every 10 days) where i eat as much as i want/can
the 2-3 days after that i usually drop calories especially low and go zero carbs and by day 3 im pretty much always at a lower weight again.

id probably cut twice as fast without the cheat days but i stay below 12% anyways so i have no pressure to cut fast
it still works this way and my mind just needs a break (=icecream and chocolate) every now and then :P



This might be a dumb question but how long do you figure it will take for my metabolism to get back to normal till i can slowly drop cals

well, probably depends on your metabolism, how long you crash dieted and how quickly you increase calories
id start at 1800 or so and increase by 100 each week
its gonna take some time but id increase up to 3000 and then drop to 2500 and go from there or so.

when im bulking i usually start slightly above maintenance and increase kcals by about 100 each week
metabolism adapts pretty well without additional fat gain and that way you can easily keep gaining for 3 months or so, plus you have a much higher caloric point to go from when transitioning to a cut

id assume that approach would work for reverse dieting / your problem aswell

People do that because they eat like a fatass
I've crash dieted and didn't "rebound", I ended up just getting really jacked. I just added tren and went outrageously high carb and low fat for 2 weeks. But calories not very high at all because obviously eating to gain weight- you gain weight lol.

I added 1000kcal straight away then added 250 a week extra until I hit the sweet spot.

if i jumped from 2400 to 4200 straight away id be a bloated mess within 2 weeks

that is on t3 and tren btw

just my experience
metabolism adapts very effectively but very slowly

look at aaron curtis' facebook
the guy is (supposed) natural (not impossible since hes been working out for like 20 years)

he METICULOUSLY diets and reverse diets. the guy adds like 10g carbs a week for a year straight while keeping form
his goal is pretty much to make his metabolism adapt to as high calories as possible over time so that he can start cutting on very high kcals

after a year or so hes basically maintaining on 2000 kcals more than at the beginning

you cant do that in 3 days...

Yeah i guess I might just have to end up getting a little fatter to get my metabolism back up then slowly cut....Hopefully I'll be under 10% by june

If you don't plan on competing, why do you want to get under 10 percent? Your body looks most athletic around 10...

I like to be around 8% in the summer and 10-12% in the fall and winter it makes banging hot chicks at the beach approximately 1.78876x easier.

Do you think I could add in t3 and increase cals faster? These low cals are seriously fucking me up

could run a dose of 25mcg, but i dont think you will be happy with your body after

you need a decent amount of muscle 190-200lbs high tren and test with t3 or it will eat you

ive used 200mcg t3 before
on 1.2g or so total AAS
that dose is pretty comparable to DNP in terms of weight loss
it completely ate me just like maz says
looked like complete and utter shit from a BB perspective, like a soccer player while on it, completely stringy, shredded but 0 mass

BUT
as soon as i got off it i exploded with glycogen retention and basically looked 3x as big and just as ripped

i could post pics but i dont want u cnuts to fap on me

ive done very similar in the past

im pretty sensitice to the drug even on high amounts of drugs 50-75mcg flatens me out.

never used it while bulking though although i know it is used a lot in the industry in offseason aswell as during prep.

i use 50-60mcg when bulking and settled to twice that much when cutting
when carbs are high enough if doesnt flatten me out at all

the best thing about that stuff is that it drastically cuts down my need for sleep
makes you so much more productive

i wake up at 8am completely refreshed every morning on point after 8 hours of sleep
this is on tren
there were times where i was sleeping like 12 hours a day on tren and was still yawning 20 times a day

once your there on your high tren ect, u can eat shit quite often and literally not change atall. the only thing that happens is you become hotter and sweat more as the tren eats through the carbs.

Update

Currently dieting on 2000 kals a day now. I feel much better and much more energy than before. I slowly upped my intake about 100-200 calories every few days all the way Up to 2600 Kals a day and gained a little bit of fat and water back but then dropped back down to 2000 and added some t3(100mcg/day) and HIIT cardio sessions for about 15 minutes 3x a week currently. I'm now as lean as I was when I was still starving on fucking 1200 kals a day but im much fuller and much more vascular now. my weight went from like 185 to 194 when I was upping my calories but now im back to 185 but way fuller. Carb cycling is helping a lot and I'll be adding an extra day of cardio every week till im dking cardio 7 days a week for 15 mins a day HIIT then if I want to get leaner I'll add 5 mins of cardio to each session. Thanks for helping me out guys

I dieted on 1600 or so and got ripped but after 2 months and coming off orals, i got fat again even around 1600-1800 cals. Im dieting now at 2100-2200 with no intense cardio. Maybe treadmill walks or something. Im hoping this along with TrT can sustain a lean body all summer without stalling metab and getting fat

youre not an ectomorph if you have issues getting lean

ectos dont eat for 3 hours and lose like 5 pounds lol
