don't they realise that its so common in the last 10 years that it was never cool or unique to start with?

I always thought it was funny how some have a thing against tattoos. I always liked them from when I was 7 or so. I guess I was just destined to be white trash.
The cholo LA tattoo Piana crew does look awful. Neck, face, chest are all areas I would never tattoo.
Much like riding a motorcycle, it's not something to put much thought behind other than enjoying it. I'm sure plenty of bankers and suits look at a guy on a jet bike and think, what a jerk. Meanwhile, he is clearly more bad ass than that suit and probably gets more pussy.
Ok, the last line was a bit of a stretch.

Just for the record, I am not against tattoos. If someone likes getting tattoos that's fine with me. I do wonder how some folks afford them, like my nephew, when they barely make enough money to pay the rent. But hey, to each his own. That's my motto for tonight.

To add, there is nothing unique or individualistic about putting ink on your body. Sometimes in life, people do things simply because they like to.
I'm sure plenty question why anyone would spend time writing on a forum, when the outcome is usually the same....zero gain.
It's entertaining, but a waste of time. Playing video games...another waste, wtf would someone do that...because they like doing dumb shit.

While were on the subject of body modification, I also have never had anything pierced nor do I suspect I ever will.

Some tattoos look good and artistic, enhancing the persons appearance. However, most just look shitty and generic.

Who really cares enough one way or another to get so worked up about it? I like them but a lot are pretty stupid with cliches, etc. No different then stupid tshirts/trying to hard style wise except you can't get rid of them very easily. If you get one, make sure you are going to like it for life.
