On aside my friend I just want to clarify one thing.
I know many people believe you to be alcoholic just like they believe I am a drug addict simply for using recreational drugs here or there.
I never bought into it as being a given that you were an alcoholic.
I just think u were a kid you liked a drink here or there just like many people.
You were probably a heavy drinker but not a true alcoholic.
I also don't believe you ever went to AA.
You could prove me wrong by giving me the name and number of your sponsor to verify.
I think the whole AA think was/is a cover story in your reformation story.
I don't believe or buy it.
Why?
Cos I don't believe you ever actually had a problem.
You may say I am wrong and maybe I am.
But that is my theory and I will stick to it
Never had a sponsor. I only went to the required 16 meetings for the program I had to do for work. I also had weekly phone meetings with a counselor, and I am still required to remain sober (subjected to increased random drug tests which focus on the alcohol) until November of 2015.
I definitely had a major problem developing, which was slowly taking over my life. That's fine if you don't believe me. I am the one who has to live with myself in the real world, and I am happy with the progress I have made (not a drop since Oct. 2014)
Its been a weight lifted off of me figuratively and literally. I have lost close to 30 pounds, and the desire to lose more is there.
A mod spot would be cool, but I have already won something in real life, which is much more important.
