poor lady she slaved all those years to do everything and was probably at his beck and call, then to get ditched after overcoming cancer...I feel so bad for her. Well at least she can take solace in the fact that it appears to be a downgrade in many ways. Getting left for someone younger will hurt any woman no doubt but she can feel better that he didn't appear to get a real winner. Actually judging by his behavior we know that to be true
She was a slightly older woman with a teenaged son. Which suited Phil at the time. He doesn't have to worry that much about raising a child, and he could concentrate more on competing. Coincidently, Phil himself had a stepfather. Now, there could be other things in their marriage, but Phil's wife, as I said was a few years older than him. Pure speculation, but they could have grown distant, Phil wanting kids, and bodybuilding is a selfish sport. All these things can contribute. And now he is with a younger woman that more represents the "baller image" he likes. As I said, this is pure speculation.
