Im not exactly brown but im not white either so how far does this white power go, do you have to be 100% white to join? lol
EDL never said they were racists or white supremacists. They are against Islamification of the country and a dilution of the British way of life.
Of course there will be racists in their club, but even in the odd videos I have seen black and mixed race people in the EDL, although not many. I cant imagine they would be that friendly as those who consider British culture to be diluted generally also consider the influx of migrants to be a major factor, which would include non-white people and non British white people like eastern Europeans etc.
Ultimately there should be no reason to bring race into it. If a black person has reasonable logic and sense, they should be able to see the effect of uncontrolled immigration of any kind of people into a country. The same effects have gone on throughout history and have been recorded all the way back to the Roman Empire.
If the EDL were pure in terms of what their claimed goals are, any race should be able to join, as they are effectively wanting to prevent Islamification, which is down to religion, and a dilution of culture, which is down to too many foreign people.
You can protect against Islamification by restricting immigration from predominatly muslim nations, and you can restrict against dilution of culture, by keeping the immigration numbers at a sufficient size that the immigration pool doesn't grow at rate much higher than the indigenous population. This still allows for people of all races to enter the country and live and work here.
Under the conservatives, they allowed in around 50-100k people per years vs labour 700,000+ legally per year post 1997. In addition to the legal 300,000 that labour let in, they also stripped away the border controls and dismantled most of the UK Immigration policies allowing a free for all. So you ended up going from 50k+ per year to anyones guess.
Back in the 90's there was nothing like the scale of things today with UKIP, EDL, BNP always in the news. The UK public is far more today racist than it was 20 years ago. Ironically its mainly lefty's and ethnic minorities that voted labour in who created this shitty mess, that we have to live with.
