I always liked Bush and could never understand the hatred toward him by the left.....I think he was a good president for the first 6 years....no excuses were made for Obama.....Obama had to power-grab because he realized he could not work with people who hate him so much they tried to delegitimize him and tried to stop his crowning achievements....not to mention the Republicans are so screwed up how could he partner with them to get anything done???...the tea party would not let any Republican compromise

of course it does...but put yourself in his shoes.....you want to do things for the American people....that's why you ran.....but then as soon as you enter office, the other side tries to delegitimize you, tries to say you are not even an American citizen....which is a huge insult.....does not work with you at all on trying to bring healthcare to the American people...calls you a Muslim because they are trying to link you to terror even though they know you are a Christian, called him a liar on national TV during a speech, tried repeatedly to repeal the ACA, his signature achievement......they worked behind Obama's back to bring Benjamin Netanyahu to make a speech to congress  and also sent a letter to Iran basically stating that even if they came to an agreement with Obama that the conservative congress may still not ratify the agreement or lift sanctions which was borderline treasonous......and Mitch McConnell said that his goal was to make sure Obama was a one term president.....so he never wanted to work with Obama...and then they try to blame him for not reaching out??
