I have never seen anything regress in the way that bodybuilding has over the last twenty years.

I know guys who placed in contests like the IFBB Universe in the late 70s and they really did only ever do small pre contest cycles - they looked terrific and many are still lean and fit today. These nasty looking fuckers are so unappealing that it is no wonder the sport is dying.
