Women who look at other women in disgust

You see it everywhere, check out lines, restaurants etc. women looking at other women, sizing them up rather openly, and having a face of like disgust, usually the woman they are checking out is hotter than them.

I am not asking about jealousy here because there is no point of talking about that, but what is with them doing it so open and obvious.

I have seen girls literally roll their eyes in the gym after checking out a super hot girl with tight pants etc.

We see during grocery shopping. It's almost like they are tearing each feature apart with their eyes. I don't understand it.
