but he does "blast" 250/week for 8 weeks twice a year... 19 inch solid arms at about 10% bf

I assure you those "19in arms" are not the product of steroid use.

Exactly a twink before touching PEDs and a twink after.

Internet only helps to make it more evident.  How I wish it was around when I was on my teens. ( the Internet that is )

Platz looks good. Almost 60 years old. 15-20 years of PED's.  Dude looks great.

Not to mention that this looks like some morning at the gym, so of course they're gonna look like they rolled out of bed an hour earlier.  Too many twinks here seem to think everyone wears makeup to the gym.

Who knows maybe they are actually in pretty decent shape? You can't really tell how muscular they really are underneath.

What you can tell for sure is they are pretty lean and obviously not huge anymore but that comes with being natural.

Nobody looks big in clothes like that except for fatsos or people who have a big bone structure.. and heavy steroid users.
When I wear regular clothes NO ONE thinks that I even lift... which sucks but on the other hand it can be funny to surprise people that know you for quite a while and have no idea what's going on...

I can clearly remember the infamous beach pics at his largest back in the early 80's like it was yesterday.  Nobody came close...90% still don't.

(2) excellent examples of what steroids do to you in end...if you survive.

Both well into their sixties. Both older than Platz and Prince. Both decades long users. Both still juiced to the gills.

I think the fact they keep their weight down makes a big difference and aren't running around at 250.

Stallone is likely being checked by his Dr regularly and keeps his bp under control.

How do you know? Think of the thousands of people that juice. Everyday gym rats. People you'll never know. Live healthy long lives. I'm 55 years old and still keep in touch with people that I've known for decades and have trained with in the past. Several well into their sixties. All doing fine.

But you're right about one thing: They are not the norm. They are jacked, look younger; and are way more virile, stronger and healthier than the norm.

I don't where you get this notion that steroids are so deadly and you're not going to survive into your fifties when it's been establish so many times that on the list of cause of death due to drugs AAS are way down the list. Prince, and majority of pro BBers, that have health problems are doing way more than AAS. And just being so massively huge is never healthy for the heart no matter if it's fat or muscle.

I've been on AAS in moderate dosages for over thirty years now and have a blood test twice a year. Never had any problems. And though I'm nothing special, compared to the average 55 years old I'm superman. Just being able to climb ten flights of stairs (which I do every other day) and having visible abs puts me light years ahead of most 55 year olds.

So knock it off with this tired old argument. You've never juiced and don't know many personally that have for a long period of time. There's a difference between use and abuse. EVERYTHING can abused. Probably the most abused substance in our society is food since virtually all heart disease, the number one killer, can be trace to a bad diet.

I've never said steroids are deadly and I'm no doctor either

All I said is being in that shape, in reference to the two pics, is rare, that's all. Take into account the population ratio

Like millionaires/billionaires to average broke ass Americans or 50k a year people, it's rare

OK. I thought you were piggy backing on the comment by Crealife about steroid use and "if you survive".

People who take steroids are people who overwhelming workout and live a healthier life style than the norm. BBers are extreme cases and represent a fraction of a percent of people who go to the gym. Pro bbers are not just steroid abuses but they are drug abusers. The diuretics and pain killers they take are way more dangerous than hormones.

More like examples of what MASSIVE amounts of AAS + diuretics + GH + Insulin + recreational drugs + unhealthy lifestyle over decades do to you... and keep in mind that
as far as I remember Tom Prince stopped training at all after his health problems.

He ....

And yeah .. MELTDOWN  >:(

And

good post... agreed.

whenever ive been off- and i mean, for years... i NEVER end up like platz and prince. Still solid, large..even when not even training.

went off for 10 years and still didnt drop below 240lb.

arms shrunk to 17.5"...down from 20". took about a year to get back to 19 3/4" drug free after 10 years off..completely.

a group of buddies have been training on and off like me- we met at university - they are the same. in their early 40s and all look decent. some were completely drug free, others used a bit.

all look like they work out..still...and they hardly do.

This is true, some people just have indestructible internals and can tolerate decades of chemical use. Plus, the public rarely know the truth and the side effects they have suffered along the way.

People are living longer and healthier than ever before in history. The average life span just over 100 years ago was just over 40. In countries such as Angola, where all their food is natural and there is no fast or processed food or evil drugs nor any money to buy these things, they don't even make it to 40.

In fact, one the reasons given as to why there is so much cancer now then before is because we are living so much longer. The longer you live the greater the chance of developing mutant cancer cells. But as long as Chuck Norris, at 75, can still do those round house kicks at an age where people use to die then it's worth it.
