Really? And do you have a medical degree? How would you know who is disabled and who isn't? I have a bum knee, severe sciatica and I am 70 years old and yet I still lift. I've seen pictures of competition bodybuilders who are missing limbs like the one attached.

I meet that guy at the Phil Heath when I competed super nice guy

That is not a picture of a sailor. Thats a boarding team that would consist of either marines or SEAL's.  If you were running up stairs on a drill, then it was a fire or an evacuation drill and you didn't have a gun in your hand!

And what part of serving on a ship can be classed as a  "stressful job"?   if you have ear and eyesight problems then thats your fault for not wearing the protection given, and as for the brave men smashing their legs on stairwells....hardly compares to the triple amputees with no dick left, you are actually unable to train or do fuck all.

How the fuck are you going to tell me what that is.. That a VBSS team doing drill.. That what they wear and they do it all the time.. SAT and BAT teams will also do the same if there is a possible intruder to clear the ship which I was part of

You have zero idea what you are talking about. None..

I'll explain this like I did for ta. It's not SS disability. It's disbikity compensation. Meaning they pay me for injuries I had durning my time in the navy.  Like my range of motion is decreased in my right arm, I walk with a slight limp.  I'm going to get complications from my knee later in life. So since the navy did it to me they pay you abd treat you for it.. Loss of hearing, loss of eye sight. Any mental issues all are taking in to account. I had a very stressful job. I took medication for it. That's a disability the mental illness part.   It doesnt mean I told them I can't walk and I'm facing somthing.

SS disability is when you are paid because you can not work do to an injury.

I have a job and go to school full time. I'm not "faking" anything

As you pointed out in this post, not all disabilities are visible. My son-in-law has among other things debilitating migraines almost every day as a result of injury to his neck. It's not something a casual observer can see. It is severe enough that he was medically boarded out with full disability. He also suffers PTSD and short term memory loss. All this thanks to an IED. His knees are also shot as a result of running with a 91 lb. rucksack on his back in rough terrain.  None of these are visible disabilities.

Meaning they pay me for injuries I had durning my time in the navy.  Like my range of motion is decreased in my right and left arm, I walk with a slight limp. I get swelling in my knee all the time. I'll never be able to lift legs like I use to again  I'm going to get complications from my knee later in life. So since the navy did it to (as if I wasn't in the navy I would have never busted my knee) they pay you abd treat you for it.. Loss of hearing, loss of eye sight. Any mental issues all are taking in to account. I had a very stressful job. I took medication for it. That's a disability the mental illness part.   It doesnt mean I told them I can't walk and I'm faking somthing.  This is very common with any vet. 3.5 million have disability. That does not me they are disabiled to a point they can not work. Some are and they get a code saying they are to messed up tj work but that very rare

How much do they pay you for making you unable to spell properly?

It's just a stereotype that people think oh if your a disabled vet you must be missing a arm or somthing. People are not in don't understabd the stress work 100hr work weeks with no sleep and littke food for month on end does to you physically and mentally.  Everyone talking shit has never served. You will never find a vet talking shit to another vet as we all know the bs we had to do.

I have for more of an idea what i am talking about than you do. You are full of shit. You are a sailor that has never seen combat in his life. you work in an OPs room staring at intel reports and radar screens. You've probably handled a weapon once a year at best on an annual proficiency test. You've never been under fire, you've never been off the ground in combat, you smashed your fucking leg on a stairwell and are trying to act like you stepped on an I.E.D in afghanistan.

When did I every day that I was a combat guy??? Lol. Never not once. And as far as the navy goes no you don't have a fucking clue based in you pervious post.

My son-in-law helped haul parts of his comrades out of the mess tent that was blown up in Mosul. That's got to do something to your mind. Picking up pieces of dead friends.

Your son in law actually experienced real stress, thats why. I doubt he's online calling himself "combatvetJim" or some shit either. Taxiing guys to and from port, monitoring radar screens and mincing around in little shorts on the other hand...how the fuck is someone going to get PTSD from that?

PTSD??  Combat? Where are you coming up with this stuff. Please show me where I said this. You need to put the bottle down

Zero question. Let's be clear the only "combat" was getting a few rounds shot at us by priates and me wacthing us shot back. I never claimed to be a infanty guy, never said I had PTSD. Nor would I ever wish that on anyone

I was an Intel guy. I help make strike packages for special forces and bombing of terrorist (one tour) and I was a anti ship missile defense expert. I was the guy that had to defeat the radar of a middle traveling Mach 3 with a 2,000 war head. That was my job. I fucked up we were dead. It a job you hope you never have to do

I don't think very many folks get partial or full disability from the VA by faking it. The medically boarded out process took almost a year for my son-in-law. No bases were left uncovered.

My father-in-law left the navy with a partial disability. He was a gunner's mate which made him almost completely deaf.

It took me 11 months from start to finish. Over 20 medical exams. It sucked

I'm British, But I've seen enough of you guys to know that you're the same as the UK sailors....full of shit. I know the job you do as i've seen you do it. I think it is an absolute disgrace that you can sit there boasting about being a veteran and talking about the awful stress of working long shifts on a ship, having to eat the "horrible" food cooked for you in the galley by some fat chef who no doubt bigs himself up online too.

You're talking about the hell and the stress of your job...so help me understand?

You're a limey c unt and have no idea what you're talking about. Shut up.

Very difficult to fake.  You have to fight what's deserved.  They don't just hand these ratings out.

Same deal. Smashing your leg on a stairwell is similar to and actually worse than stepping on an I.E.D in afghanistan.

He is a warhero you limey girl.

Navy Mike deserves all of getbigs respect.

I'm just confused why he didn't get a purpleheart after he bumped his shin in that stairwell.

While people mess around like this don't ask me why but in the navy no matter where I went or what ship I was on white guys would do gay shit for fun. With out fail every time the blacks would get anger and say they don't play that gay shit and if you mess with them they will whoop your ass. It's almost universal

Insecure men have a problem with gay jokes

Thanks wiggs 9 years.. Blow my knee out running up those step ass stairs while on deployment. We had one guy completely fuck himself and his knee cap was on the side of his leg from tripping down them. We had another guy die because he leaned up against the wall and 400hz at shorted out on it and no one new. The ship was fucking dangerous. Tight quarters electric me cables everywhere. It sucked

If I saw that happen, I take a survival raft, get the hell off and paddle my ass back home. That is not safe and damn right sloppy. Safer to be front door guard at a crackhouse....

Navy Mike hates people who collect welfare, yet he collects disability from the government for his "injuries."  ::)

A real men would have said, "Give that money to a vet who truly needs it."

Disgusting behavior on his part. He should be ashamed of himself.
