Here's my list of complaints about what's wrong with IFBB pro physiques today.
In no particular order...
1. Legs too big - Sorry but these guys look like morons walking and they're not functional. While it can look "cool"

it's an abomination. Legs need to be scaled back to early 90s.
2. Guts, wide waists, lack of intercostal and serratus detail. Nuff said.
3. Lack of striations - Remember seeing cross striations in MANY of the bodybuilders? On quads, triceps and delts? They're shooting so much shit in their delts, they look like shiny skin helmets now. Really throws off the balance of the physique as well.
4. Posing - Posing has sucked for a while with few exceptions bodybuilding night shows can be a pain to watch today because there's no emphasis on posing. It is becoming a lost art. It's not only having rhythm and hit poses it's choosing the right posing for your physique.
5. SEOs, Nuff said.
3 of 5 of those things on my list can be fixed doing one thing. Losing weight.
6. Too big. The guys have gotten too big and it hasn't been for the better. They lose detail, get guts, and can't get they're conditioning consistent.
You fix that, you're off to a great start of fixing bodybuilding.
