Negative. He's from Florida.
My family originates from New York (father's side) and Massachusetts (mother's side)
I can't stand when people think I am a bandwagon fan, just because I was born and raised in Florida.
It does not matter where you live. The sign of a true fan is sticking by the same team for life. I began watching all sports seriously in the early 90's.
I picked my favorite teams in football (Patriots) baseball (A's) and basketball (Pacers) as a kid, and I will stick with them until I die.
That is the definition of a true fan. Its not a requirement to follow the hometown team. It is a requirement to stick with your favorite team through the good times and the bad, for the duration of your life.
P.S. there is no such thing as having two favorite teams in the same sports league

I also love how some people are fake fans of popular teams, yet can't name a few players or know any of the franchise's history.
