You either believe in Conspiracy's or you don't. Basically everyone outside of New England believes in a Patriots type conspiracy. So if they believe that, they have to believe in the 9/11 Conspiracy. Which means the 9/11 truth movement should be well over 150 million strong. You believe in Conspiracy's or you don't...

In this case it's not a conspiracy but the pats were caught cheating and they have proof.

Of course it's a Conspiracy.  They didn't prove that Pats deflated balls. The balls were slightly deflated and they tried to fill the holes implicating multiple people as to why that was.

No, Roger destroyed the so called proof, no one else has seen the miraculous footage...

It exists along with the Loch Ness, Big Foot and other footage.
And yes, every team has its homers. My Bro-Inlaw is from Chicago, biggest homer I ever met for the Bears, Hawks, etc.
Other friends from other places are just as brutal...(My buddy from Baltimore is unreal with the "my team" stuff).

Nimrods everywhere, think they are part of a "insert name here"-nation"  ::)

Seeing Manning win a third would be almost as unbearable as seeing Brady win again.

In the new report, its says Roger Goodell went to Patriots front office with is Goones ERRRRRRRR other NFL front office officials and took all the videos of the Spygate and right there and there they proceeded to stop on the tapes and destroy them

 ??? ???

They had over 40 tapes they said they stomped on that day, they go out to investigate them, find dates, and instead of taking them back to NFL headquarters they decide to destroy all evidence then and there  ??? ??? Fucking Comical

Some coaches can just out coach other coaches.

Coughlin just seems to have Bellicheck's number. That's just how it goes.

Sometimes coaches get too creative and try to fool you and end up screwing themselves like Pete Carroll did last year.

Them's the breaks as they say.

Speaking of Caroll he did the same in the Rose Bowl against Texas when he took Reggie Bush off the field on forth and one late in the fourth quarter.

Carroll was being crafty, everyone in the world thought it would be a run except for Bellicheck who had his pass defense on the field. He knew it was going to be a pass,   How?  Did he have this lineup on tape and called it right?  Carroll thought NE would stack the line for a run stop and catch them, but he failed to call a timeout and Russell Wilson failed to call an audible when they lined up to stop the pass.  Just a failure by them all around.  You could say Bellicheck called the right play and gambled or that he knew what was going to happen.

While it is highly unlikely, you certainly can't say it's an impossibility.

I mean, the Patriots have obviously been caught stealing lots of signals and play calls. That's just fact.

The latest ESPN article makes it even worse and implicates the NFL as well.

Why did Belicheck have his pass defense out there before the Seahawks even lined up to show they were not running?  It caught them off guard and they failed to call a timeout to change it back to a run.  Just seems like the genius is too much of a genius.

That was all Wilson imop. How do you not audible out of that play? Wilson wanted to be the hero. We're not talking about a Rookie QB here.

So you contend that Boston sports fans are the most insufferable, yet your facts to support such claims are a trifecta of anecdotes from sports radio listeners? Everybody is entitled to their opinion, and I won't even try to sway yours, as it's clearly fueled by blind fury at Boston for some reason, but I can easily offer competing anecdotes from other pro-sports media-markets that would rival or surpass the "homer-ness" of the examples that you seem to be weighing so heavily. Will I then claim that "proves" that my opinion about the New Orleans Saints is correct? No, I wouldn't care to make that blithe, facile assertion based on the obvious dearth of facts.

But go right ahead.

I lived in Massachusetts for five years.  I'm a bit more acquainted with this fanbase than a single incident involving an idiot on sports radio.  My opinion is fueled not by "blind fury" but by first-hand experience with your fanbase.  You are actually reinforcing it with your behavior here, insisting that every fanbase is like this and the problem is me.

Essentially the entire rest of the world outside of New England shares my opinion so you should probably get used to it.

My family originates from  New York (father's side) and Massachusetts (mother's side)

I can't stand when people think I am a bandwagon fan, just because I was born and raised in Florida.

It does not matter where you live. The sign of a true fan is sticking by the same team for life. I began watching all sports seriously in the early 90's.

I picked my favorite teams in football (Patriots) baseball (A's) and basketball (Pacers) as a kid, and I will stick with them until I die.

That is the definition of a true fan. Its not a requirement to follow the hometown team. It is a requirement to stick with your favorite team through the good times and the bad, for the duration of your life.

P.S. there is no such thing as having two favorite teams in the same sports league  ::)

I also love how some people are fake fans of popular teams, yet can't name a few players or know any of the franchise's history.

That's true. It's also not an impossibility that future Bellichick went back in time and told his present day self about the pass play. You can't say that it didn't happen.

All possibilities are not equally probable. There is a reason that Occam's Razor exists.
