Cheaters schmeaters, check out this kid - 722 yards/10 TDs in ONE FUCKING GAME:

Highschool football is ridiculous. That game proves my point. The gap in competition for most good teams is laughable.

BREAKING NEWS: The NFL is officially investigating allegations made by the Pittsburgh Steelers that it rained harder on the Steelers sideline then it did on the Patriots sideline. This is leading some experts to speculate that maybe the Patriots have a hand in global climate change.

Jerry Rice admitted to using illegal stickum, to gain an advantage.

49ers championships are tainted too.  8)

The Niners first Super Bowl was without Rice.

Patriots receivers probably never used any stick-um.

Even though I just showed you a quote from Jimmy Johnson saying that he was taught to tape coaching signals and then sync them up with the game film.

So I guess the Cowboy championships of the 90's are tainted too  8)

Neither the Cowboys nor the 49ers were fined massive $$ and had draft picks taken away for cheating.  Twice.

The Patriots have.  It's what they're known for.  Even at the beginning of the Mr. Robot series, there was an opening monologue that mentioned "things/idols not being what they seem" and it showed Tom Brady.  That's who they picked, because it resonates with the public and their perception of him.

No example you give is anywhere near that.

It's not what they're known for in the court of public opinion.  People think of the steel curtain, terrible towel, etc with that team.

With NE it's cheating.

Ya. I imagine 20 to 30 years from now, Patriots will be known for their winning. There will be many teams nailed for something in that time frame and it will bring what the Patriots have accomplished into perspective.

Doesn't matter. They will always be known as cheats now.

Rice is a cheater.

 ;D

Tomlin came onto the field, and got in the way of the Ravens kick returner. All Steeler wins in the Tomlin era are null.

Giants fake injuries and Lawrence Taylor played while on illegal subtances. All Giants wins are tainted.

Aaron Rodgers is gay and Brett Favre showed his penis. All Packer wins are tainted.

Still, though. It's like Wilt's 100 - how is it even possible to rack up that many? Even if the defense just stays on the bench, he has to have the ball every single possession.

Probably a mix of both.  With media the way it is now, this story has reached everywhere.  It's in the Pats DNA at this point.

Which is why it is ridiculous. How the hell is there even enough time for 1 team to score 100+ and the other to score 90?

Not impressive at all. Both teams have to be terrible.

I'm joking.

But no team is clean. You can find infractions made by all 32 NFL teams. By that accord, everyone is tainted to some degree.

If the Patriots pumped in crowd noise, they would get millions in fines and draft picks. If Atlanta gets nailed again for doing it(2nd offence). It will probably be another slap on the wrist. The league sent out a memo telling all teams not to pump crowd noise in over a decade ago. Which means they knew teams were doing it. And everyone knew Atlanta was doing it for years. Many say Seattle and KC have done it and still do it...Two of the loudest stadiums in the league. Yet the league has not even looked at Seattle or KC...Bottom line is the NFL and ESPN hate Brady and Bill B because they won't give them any interviews and won't do anything for them.  Bill and Brady have shut them out. ESPN loves the Mannings. Chris Mortensen is a friend of the Manning family. It's interesting that Mortensen put out bad info on deflategate and Brady. No way he would have done that to Manning if Manning was accused of something. Once you find out who's in bed with each other, you can see the writing on the wall. Brady's father talked about ESPN and the league in detail. Cheating scandals at Brady and the Patriots make Manning career that much better in the eyes of public opinion. But watching what happened to Manning in the Super Bowl against Seattle and watching how Brady handled Seattle a year later told the story of why Brady is leaps and bounds ahead of Manning as a player...And it really isn't even close...

Preach!!!!! Teams are blaming the Patriots for everything now. Perfect example was Tomlin blaming New England for the headset snafu, and then the NFL clearing the Pats of any wrong doing the next day.

Its popular to blame the Patriots for winning.

More conspiracy........teams complain against the Patriots because the Patriots are always scheming.

But how Brady handled them?  Threw 2 TDs and 2 Ints, had his head in his hands on the sidelines thinking he lost again.  What a way to lead a team.   ::)

Atlanta should have been nailed hundreds of times for pumping in crowd noise. They and many teams for been doing it for decades. Almost all Hockey arena's do it. But in football, it really does give the home team a major advantage...

Cleveland for the texting scandal as well. Both teams were fined, but nobody cares because they suck.

Got MVP of the Super Bowl against the best defense maybe to ever play the game. Manning had zero answers for that same defense a year earlier...

He threw 4 touchdowns.  ::)

How the two players stacked up against basically the same defense on the same stage

37/50---328 yards---4TDS---2INTS...81QBR=MVP Brady Super Bowl 49

34/49---280yards---1   TD---2INTS...24.4QBR=Manning Owned Super Bowl 48

4 TD 2 Int, head in hands in defeat on sidelines when they won.

Typo on the last post.

Probably good enough QB to win without all the cheating.  I know real Pats fans who are disappointed in their organization for this.
