Training for MPD - what is omitted?
« on: May 07, 2015, 01:44:41 AM »
Without meaning to offend any of the thousands of MPD competitors who kill me in terms of muscularity and conditioning, I have to ask why it is that the typical MPD physique has that look: no traps, very non built up waist, very wide shoulders, smallish arms, broad chest and a back dominated by lat width.  Do MPD competitors, in general, not do shrugs, arm movements, deadlifts, rows and do hundreds of ab exercises, machine exercises and pulldowns?

There are exceptions to the rule. Johnny Sebastian has some thickness to his torso, for example. But generally I find it to be a very synthetic build, more unbalanced than a lot of gym rats. Again, no offense to any MPD's out there, genuinely wondering about the training approach.
