Glamorization of the male physique (i.e., BB'ing) has run it's course. It along w/ just about everything else has been run into the ground & the public is no longer fascinated by a freakish body. Idiots like Valentino, Piana, the Situation, etc., only serve to reinforce the public's misconception that if you have an impressive physique your an idiot & the physique can only be obtained through unnatural means (drugs, implants, crazy exercise routines, gurus, etc.)
Until the IFBB (which is a joke into itself) puts social responsibility ahead of financial gains ^ this will never change. We as amatuer bodybuilders can help immensely by not wearing revealing clothing, acting like thugs/bullies, attempting to constantly maintain a pre-contest appearance.
