guy was able to jump over a volkswagon from the standing position , stated nfler jimmy brown... bronson trained by climbing ropes using only his arms. in the movie pic'd he is seen reading a musclemag in his jail cell.

yes i read that too Funk.. rope climbing and a lot of Body weight training. his Lats and Bis were solid. Guys here should try climbing rope with just arms/lats. Then we will talk Bicep size...

I did it once about 10 years ago when I didn't even train like that.

remember in the Army doing the rope work, pumped the bis,lats...lower arms. Grip strength was amazing. Raw rugged training.

He was one of many Hollywood actors who was coached under Vince Gironda....surprised you guys dont know this...I have an old Muscle magazine from the 70s with an ad in it listing all of his hollywood pupils...Cheech and Chong was also on the list lol

Clint Eastwood too and that i heard from Bob Kennedy on the phone. posted it before but was funny. Respect he did have from many stars of that time.

Bronson was the epitome of sweaty and troubled manliness - the way it's meant to be.
His movies are ace too... especially liked the one where he's a contract killer(The Mechanic 1972) and who could forget Deathwish I and II.
Only one that comes somewhat close to his level is Clit Eastwood.

vince trained everyone in hollywood,if you looked on the vince gironda thread in the history section you would know this too.

You're right he trained at Gironda's. So did Beretta actor Robert Blake. Heard Gironda had actors train light but very quick. 15-30 seconds between sets.

Ropes give the forearm a proper pump. Climb them at least once a week.

Can cause brutal tendonitis though.

Just finished it, really enjoyed it, simple straight forward movie, no cgi crap, good fight choreography with any which way but loose punching sound fx

Bronsan had a real solid fighters physique here
