Well today's charger rides on the LX chassis. And you know where some of those parts came from?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chrysler_LX_platform

To hell with the new one, that gorgeous 69 was built right here in the good old USA by the Dodge boys.

Wow looks shit just like it always has for the past 20 years.

This is the last great 7 series, when BMW actually meant quality.

Now its just pure shit for morons like Da Vinci who want a throwaway car with no value.  Buy a new one and come back and tell us what its worth in 5 years.  :D

Don't worry, you won't ever be able to own a new car.

I'm quite impressed you would own a 1968 300 SEL.

Are you actually saying that you would rather have a 1968 Merceds 300 SEL over a 2016 BMW 7 series if someone was to give you a car?

To me, the e38 was the last "good looking" 7 series.

Absolutely, Parker! Love your taste. I was so close to buying an 2003 M5 back in 2006, with 30k miles on it. Never pulled the trigger and I've always look longingly at those models and similiar bodystyle Beemer's to this day

Still rocking an Audi A8, if I'm correct, Da Vinci?

Last days of driving it. Looking around for a new one (I like new 7-class, but as some comented here - quite some issues with an electric side on newer BMW's, they have to sort it out) I think I may get a new a8, it's an amazing car.

So true about the value

So many Hebrews driving around with 22's or 24's on their 2002-2003, 7,000 dollar "new" 745i haha oh brother  ::)

it is all fun and games for those hebrews until they need to pay the repair bills for their old bimmers.

Yup - he has no need for....

- comfortable seats
- Sound proofing
- decent suspension
- 10 speaker Harman Kardon sound system (ipod on wheels)
- 8 speed triptronic gearbox
- ABS
- Run Flat Tires
- Airbags
- Crumple zones
- Traction control
- Hands free phone
- GPS (he probably uses a sexton and compass because maps are so passe)

Nope - he'd rather spend $20k on an uncomfortable, unsafe tank that guzzles fuel and get's beaten at the lights by a hairdresser driving a 1.8 liter BMW on the way to do a blow dry.

All because of the possibility he can sell it for $20.5k when he's done - to make up for the additional $30k he spent on fuel.

Lol. Yet he'd be the first one to post a new model here and talk/brag about "the experience" if that would ever happen.

series 4 is a  great looking coupe

the thing about the 4 series, and that M4, is that the cabin seems too long. The e92 coupe looks aesthetically better.

New A8 would be amazing and the way to go IMO. I was a BMW guy for the longest time but Audi has absolutely been crushing it with their cars in recent years. Just love how the A8 almost seems like an understated 4-door sedan but under the hood is a supercharged V-6 with 333hp. They must have toned down the A8's, I remember a couple years back they had V8's pushing 500hp. Whatever, just a classy, work of art of a car

Truth. Not quite a Audi but cant beat Toyota reliability. Had an Acura RL back in 2007 that was an awesome car. Sick navigation, had some nut with 300hp, AWD handled on rails and Honda reliability

Fully agree, a really beautiful piece of engineering in every sense (even tho' the new BMW's have a great look). I've had a huge pleasure driving my current for about 4 years or so, can't complain about any major shortcomings, as it just doesn't have any, you just feel comfortable, safe, fast, dynamic, everything in one.

The Mechanical company I work for jus finished a 12,000sq ft mansion on the CT River, really a glorified summer home. Anyhoo, sitting right in the garage was an Audi R8. Bad motherfucking car, albeit impractical being a 2-seater. Here's the kicker, it was the wife's car! AAAHHH smh, yeah that thing gets opened up like it deserves to driven. Oh for shame!

Haha... that's a shame, it's a great "supercar" while not too "flashy" like ferarri at the same time, good for an easy ride and for some crazy power. I know a guy who has one, the sound alone makes my cock hard.

Alright Getbig, here's your new ride!  This is the beautiful 2016 BMW 7 series.  8)

I'll pass.  Not a fan of current BMWs; I'll stick with the Audi A8 or the MB S63 AMG in my driveway.  Bay likey! 8)

It's a Toyota.  Let's not forget Pearl Harbor.

Buy a real car.

I live in Ireland, a dodge would cost 150euro a day in petrol

I don't think TA understands how good the driving dynamics are in a 7 series.  It may be a large sedan, but it can dance through the corners like a  5 series.  A 1968 Mercedes 300 SEL drives like a Lincoln Town car in comparison.

All German cars have evolutionary design.  That's like saying a 911 looks the same as the last model.

This for $25,000 less. Spend the $25,000 on hookers and Anadrol.  Edit: opps, maybe i've got those prices reversed.

25K?.....this must be a Gift then......least expensive I've seen of the GS model is 35k

Exterior proportions seem off.  Car just doesn't look good standing still.  The 7 series hasn't been a looker for quite some time.

Interior looks killer, and I'm sure it's great to drive....but I wouldn't want to own it a day out of warranty.

ROFLAMO!  A8.

What a joke.  Those things you can get so cheap after year one even.  It wins the prestigious award of being one of the most depreciated cars in history, specifically the A8.

You are a moron.
