nope . Im saying they come out in short shorts. Pose together and are judged by their body by some kinda electronic polling either localized or online.

No glitz no glamour. Involve the audience. Take away any faggotry with lame ass routines and bs judging..

Can a male heterosexual bodybuilder put on a glittery thong and actually call himself hetero? I think not :-\

He could , for the sake of "anything to win mentality"  Just Don't expect any woman to think is "attractive or manly looking " though

Not disagreeing with you, but it does beg the question, what are all these supposed straight Getbigers doing on a bodybuilding orientated webpage?

Most likely vanity and some insecurities. Everybody is insecure, one way or another, but in some arenas the more insecure may prosper because the put it on the line for adoration.
Another factor is wanting to be more than one can be which is sexless but also an important ingredient of the anabolic cock-tail.

Let the women have a say. It is women who really pick men outside of bodybuilding, so allow them to take their naturally position as pickets of what is attractive to them. Set guidelines for aesthetics, symmetry, shape, conditioning, and allow them to pick.

THEY DID ...and they keep saying it every single day ; to their eyes:  "Bodybuilding is  gross" and they wouldn't waste a single minute watching a bodybuilding contest let alone paying a ticket for a prejudging etc ....

please don't be that naïve.

for the 99% of women , they don't care if Phil is first and Branch is 6th they both look exactly the same . repulsive and not functional in bed for the amount of chemical they got in them .... (their perception anyway)

A woman think that a 6'1" chicken legs, with abs and great hair is the ideal muscle man ... nothing more opposed to Bodybuilding

Im always around 235/240 lbs so I don't want you to think "women love skinny dudes because Im a twink" lol .

is not an excuse .... Here's a perfect example of what I'm trying to make you see; Say you take a famous world class bodybuilder to a radio morning show to promote a contest ( like I have been witness many times ) and only men "mostly teenagers" would call to ask questions ..

then you take a nobody twenty something fitness model abs, chicken legs colgate smile, cute haircut, to that same radio station and the djs will tell you off the air " my phone has been blown up with tons of texts from girls that want me to put pictures of the guy up on the radio station's website ...happens all the time .

If by Heterosexualizing bodybuilding you mean, bringing women's attention to it , youre wasting your time.

if they really wanted to de-gay and heterosexualize bodybuilding they could, but they dont seem to want to?

a few changes from the top of my head:

1. no costumes, outfits, bondage, chains, nails, superman boots etc
2. no thongs
3. no use of black rnb music
4. no stripper-posing

feel free to come with more suggestions

They should have normal hetero women on the judging panel to improve the heterosexual component.  All heterosexual men want to impress women.

As a heterosexual women, I would like to offer my input:  I disagree with 3 and 4.  Stripper routines keep the heterosexual women's attention. Kai is not the most attractive man Iv'e ever seen but his posing routines (sans the masks and crap) are really good.  As women we don't mind looking at naked guys who can move.

Also it's not the music...it's the presentation.  I saw Vince Taylor compete with slow R&B music and he killed it.I think they should mark down begging for applause.

Most heterosexual male bodybuilders also want to impress other men and get reactions from them be it admiration for the "hard work" and/or also being appreciated as more attractive sexually.

That doesn't mean they want to go to bed with men, it is just an ego booster.

They make a lot of sacrifices for a competition that is extremely subjective where most of the audience is male; not female. Your heterosexual male bodybuilder is a different breed within the heterosexual population. The uninhibited nature of what they do should make this very clear to all.

I think one of the gayest things about competitive bodybuilding is the posing routine to music. They should get rid of that and just have prejudging mandatories and call outs.

N.A.B.B.A. and I.F.B.B. used to sell completely normal, non-shmoe posing trunks...

This isn't necessarily true. I will be the first to admit I do not like the onstage look. In most cases I think it looks terrible but that's because of the way the sport has decided to evolve. I think you had nice looking men up until the 90's and then it went downhill. Presentation is also big too. I think the posing trunks are too small as well.

I don't even know many women who think the men's physique guys look good onstage but offstage is a different story. Same with bodybuilders. I've seen women run guys down to get a photo with them so women do like bodybuilders just not in those trunks and with big guts. Same in a nightclub. Those chicks were relentless!!

If your sexually falls apart when seeing a guy being and feeling sexy for other guys then you probably chose the wrong "sport". At least you should reconsider watching female bodybuilding strictly.

he should be disqualified on the spot since his routine wasn't even a bodybuilding competition routine.. i mean dude did what 3 seconds of actual posing of his body/body parts to be "JUDGED".. isn't that the whole point supposed to be?....

on another matter, at least it WAS INDEED women screaming for it/him it sounds like from the audience...
