Never understood why these connected:

Devil's Advocate (You got your expected Keanu cheese, but the film itself is equally cheesy.)
Blood In, Blood Out (Advocate's director - American Me ripoff, but whitey don't make scary cholos.)
Boondock Saints (Tarantino/Ritchie 'cool' gangster wannabe. Style over substance, but shitty style.)
Avatar (Had to walk out. My lady asked, and I agreed. I RARELY walk out.)
Insidious (Huge horror fan, but this was simply shit. Even my sissy gal laughed her way through it.)
Hangover (Everyone told me it was hilarious. Really? Where? Forced frat lameness, beginning to end.)

So where am I wrong?

Hangover was okay. Nothing special. 2nd one was garbage. Avatar sucked balls.

I thought all Tarantino movies are vastly over-rated. Never saw the appeal in any.

I always thought Fight Club was overrated. Just didn't get it - it comes across to me like a film trying way too hard to be cool.

I say most any movie made in the past 10 years...Hollywood ran out of fresh ideas ages ago which is why they continue to make remakes of cult classics such as Mad Max, Point Break etc.

Yeah, lots of movies are bad.  He means movies that are undeservedly acclaimed.  Critical or commercial successes that didn't deserve.

Citizen Kane - Cures insomnia.
Easy Rider - 2 self-satisfied guys go around affirming their views and a 3rd guy helps.
Mad Max 1 - When nothing happens it's not always 'suspense.'  Sometime it's just 'boring.'
Footloose - The preacher was absolutely right.  Dancing leads to sex.  Cringeworthy.
Dirty Dancing - As above, but starring Patrick Sleazy as the middle aged lothario.
Leon - It's not about a hit man.  This is a film about pedophilia being ok.  This film is not ok.
Iron Men - RDJ?  I'm not saying it didn't work.  I'm saying that Iron Man is possibly bisexual.  Certainly campy.

Honorable Mention: The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly.  Yeah, he's a legend.  He did some slow moving shit tho.

All of the Mission Impossible stuff....Bournes are so much better IMO.
Agree on Devils advocate but I liked Blood In Blood Out
Boondock Saints is Guy Richies worst film.
