Too bad for the haters his narrowness doesn't show on stage 8)

Both Dennis & Kai are wider, so what's your point(less)?

Phil Heath is establishing a mind-muscle connection, so he doesnt need to lift heavy. Phil makes his muscles grow with his mind.
Someone should have told Dorian and Coleman about this mind muscle madness.  They would have been 320lbs easy.
Modern day pussy lifting. Insert my rant here.  You see it all the time in gyms now.  All drugs, training like a middle school girl.  Bbing has become a gutless no heart activity, when heavy amounts of drugs are involved.  You simply don't need to train very hard to grow.  Mind muscle low weight without drugs....you'd be a 160lb twink.

I would say average effort in the gym.  I'm sure his diet is well above most.
Generation nothingness had a big weekend also with EDC.  Thousands came, not one instrument was played...haha. A generation of pure nothing.  Selfies and social media.
Heath messing with his phone during a workout says it all.  Guy preaches a good game, but we know he trains like a regular schmuck.
Didn't he leave his wife who had breast cancer?  I thought they'd be together forever with that Olympia speech he gave.  Who does that in a public forum?  Guy is quite transparent.  To add, I look like utter shot next to Heath...just putting that out there...haha

You don't need to max out every routine, but ultra pussy weight I always frowned on.  Bbing isn't about max weight, but having a guy overhead 135lbs for 10 "slow" reps at a body weight of 250lbs is a joke.  I see shit like this often.  A top physique competitor...very top trains at my gym here and ther...guy trains like I did at 16...same weight, less intensity. It's a joke today.  All drugs, diet, pussy routine with a poser juiced up trainer giving him the "secrets" in training.  I've seen this literally dozens of times over the past few years.  Back in the day...never.  It's the...work as little as possible attitude, but put on a Piana /Cutlergrunt face to act as if you're really pushing hard....curling the 20 pounders.

Phil looks like he is bored and uninspired in the gym. The opposite of someone like Arnold or Zach Kahn.

If he has passion for working out, he is good at hiding it.

Do people enjoy these videos of him texting on the leg curl???

Arnold seemed to always be driven by big, lofty goals. He saw bodybuilding, I think in part, as his gateway to being a movie star.

What does a pro today see bodybuilding as? Like that one Jay Cutler quote, he insisted he was stupid or something if he didn't get OUT. These pro's are smart enough to know it's all drugs at that level and they're sacrificing their health. Shit, that's demotivating!

Bodybuilding today isn't what it was. You literally have to sign your life away to be top tier. That's a big factor. Way back when, it was a healthier lifestyle and didn't need to be a stepping stone.  A hot stepping stone surrounded by lava you don't want to stand on for too long.

His vids have always been like that, since 2006. Even though his arm routine was slightly more intense.

It works for him  :-\

So, why do you since '06 enjoy to watch his videos over Arnold-, Levrone- and Zach Kahn-vids?

Never said that I enjoyed them. Remember, Phil's first DVD was The Gift: A New Beginning.
One can only watch Levrone's M3 so many times. Zach Kahn is "meh".
Arnold, again same as Levrone. Or Ronnie.

I have seen Pumping Iron countless time.

If they added just 5 minutes of extra footage and released it to the theaters again, I would pay to see it.

Imagine new scenes and 3D glasses.. That would be an occasion.

I'd go, but only if they scented the air with soiled posing trunk odors to make you really feel connected to the events.  This with the 3d glasses could break all kinds of box office records.

In gay theaters.

The pic of Phil on the leg curl machine is the saddest pic of any Mr O, EVER. I was even gonna make a thread once on how guys lie on the leg curl machine like a bitch between sets texting. Fuck me....

AFter a set of hams I gotta sit then stand to let the blood flow then sit again as I just can't stand, lol! The way he is placed would kill me to be like that.

This is not bb'ing, if so then my interest has once again been lowered a notch.

So if some guy figures out the lighter weights work better for him, he should still lift heavy so as not to upset online ranters?

Exactly.
