The pro would tell the client the same ole, same ole training advice from FLEX magazine. And the pro would hate every minute of it.
Not necessarily.
The ones I have trained with :
Paul Baker (the most times) funniest dude ever. His story of him and Priest having to share a Smartcar in Europe will make you cry.
Vince Taylor (15-20 times)
Toney Freeman (about a dozen times)
Darrem Charles (once)
Bill Willmore (once, could have more times but the man's B.O. was ungodly awful)
Shabazz - too many times to count. bat eared midget who is a perfect example of the karma bus coming around the corner at 90mph
Jonathan Rowe - great dude. Lots of times, usually with Shabazz. Could have been a damn amazing 212 guy, but loved motorcycles too much, by loving I mean "wrecking". Between the accidents and his friendship with the seedy ass Rashid, I am surprised the guy could even afford food to go in his mouth.
Curly Top - couple of times joined us (w/ Rashid and Rowe )
Haney - a few times. But his workouts were not very much to talk about. (he was long since retired) Best part was just listening him drop a few hints and common sense.
Coleman - twice. (on a Fri and Sat) With Rashid and Jonathan at Ropeman's fitness in Atlanta. Very open about anything you wanted to know.
Kenny Jones - couple of times. (hey, he is a pro)
Have to admit the ones that I have learned the most from were Haney and Taylor. The others were nothing like you see/read in the magazines.
