Im more concerned about the fact that its a student and a teacher, as opposed to the boys being 17 years old.

There definitely should be continued punishment for student-teacher relationships. Allowing students and teachers to date or have sex just makes for a weird dynamic in so many ways.

Yes, that is the issue: student/teacher. I think it should be more of a workforce policy issue than a criminal one. I don't think these women belong in jail.

Totally relevant. A male has to be sexually aroused and have an erection and make a concerted act to have intercourse. He cannot be forced. A girl can be force to have intercourse regardless whether she wants to or not.

The question for the purpose of our discussion is not whether or not it's OK but can a man be forced to have sex.
