Hmmm...I'm 33 and made my money without having to break the law or jeopardize my health.  Also, I never "dreamed" of being a pro.  I love bodybuilding and only aspired to reach my full potential...goal accomplished.  BTW, the part of the country I live in (northern CA) has the highest median home prices in the country...even NY

As for comparing our health...  I hike regularly as well as run marathons.  You are juiced to the gills and balloon up/down in weight like a fat chick on a diet.  I don't care what your blood work says, you are jeopardizing your health.  Of course, in a few years when the health problems come out, you'll probably blame it on that nasty Advil

lol...I am no groupie.  I know how to enjoy things in life. Going to a BB show now and again is one of them.  Meeting pros who just competed and taking pics with them, I enjoyed it.  Obviously you do care about what I say because you keep responding.  Now, If or when I meet Lee or Dorian or Ronnie, I will have my camera at the ready.

King's DVD is, as far as bodybuilding DVDs go, pretty good. Unfortunately, that's not saying much.  I think if King were a bit more humble more of us would like him, but that phony hardcore, tough guy, attitude equates to something that makes you just turn the other way and wretch.  Obviously, King is desperately trying to prove something.  It's too bad he's doing it here.  At least if he actually did graduate from George Mason  - a very good school, by the way - and persued some kind of career objctive befitting the education he actually doesn't have, and persued bodybuilding as a hobby, he'd be much better off and much more respected.

If King had any balls he'd go back to school and graduate.  All that acting on his DVD is just that.

I remember he would brag about his offseason weight, or predict that he would bulk up and add some ridiculous number of pounds. He wasn't in the same league with the top guys like Cutler and Coleman, yet he was trying to play their size game to the letter. Unfortunately, the weight he was putting on, though comparable on the scale, was not quality muscle whatsoever.

My first FLEX featured the 2001 Olympia coverage.
Kamali looked great throughout the publication. He wanted too much-too soon.

I pretty sure Shari Kamali lives on the outskirts of New York City.
That said, I think it was a simple mistake.

New York City has one of the most expensive real-estate markets in the country, so I think he meant to convey that a 1.5million dollar home in his neighborhood would go for 700,000 in an average real-estate market. In that case, his initial figure was adjusted for the regional inflation.
