One beef I have with King Kamali:

He makes comments in his DVDs like "You fucking morons would be best to learn from this."

He did the same thing in his most recent musclemag column!

King, what is this?

You displace your anger against a couple of unruly getbig members to your PAYING FANS?  Think about what you did here.  The people who BUY your DVD are NOT THE SAME PEOPLE RIPPING ON YOU ON THIS BOARD.  So a fan buys your DVD just to have you call them a fucking moron?

As I said, this is called DISPLACEMENT and it is plain idiotic to say.

I have to say that watching you in the 2002 Battle for the Olympia video a few years ago you struck me as pretty insecure.  I was wondering how insecure a person would have to be to even care what some computer commandos have to say.  Then you redeemed yourself in my book by being quiet in the past few years.  Then in your King of Pain DVD you insulted your paying fans.

I just wonder why you care so much.  Were you picked on as a kid or something?

My advice is to be more professional in your DVDs.  All you did in King of Pain was promote typical meathead stereotypes.  This is not hate King, just plain FACT.  Any unbiased person would be able to see that.

i will also say.. i liked what mindspin said to king... not everybody on bb forums are wanna be pro bb's.... some of us just appreciate the sport.. i personally like it for the dedication it takes to training...but personally i would never aspire to be a pro bber.. whether i have the genetics to do so or not... which is a moot point.. as clearly... there are some pro bb's (not naming names) who dont particularly have exceptional pro genetics... i have seen a lot pf good physiques on this board who if the crossed the chemical line and could be miles better than some pros (again not naming names) i currently see in the pro circuit..
also another point.. someone says.. kamali your arms... are small... then kamali then turns around and says.. post a pic.. of your physique... and what contests have you entered...
so if on an athletic board someone a fan said to gatlin.. or maurice green.. i dont think you can beat the world record... gatlin would turn around and say'' lets see your lap time...and medals...
not because someone isnt a pro doesnt mean they cnnot make an observation...

Hedge, I know why you moved. The thread certainly meets the criteria to be on the Comments Board but I think it's also relatively important.

A lot of Pro's threaten certain posters and I think it should be made public and debated for the good of the board.

As far as him calling himself King in real life, check out the personal message he sent me yesterday and notice he refers to himself in the third person.
