Thing is people like to stand on their high horse and point the finger at racist behaviour as a way of proving how pure and unracist they are in comparison. It seems more about getting brownie points than correcting actual behaviour.

I agree. I see racism as a continuum. Lets pretend the term "bias" is on the lesser of the extreme and "racist" is at the other end of the spectrum. Everyone would fall somewhere along the continuum. Its how extreme you are in your beliefs and how stringently you hold to them. Obviously a KKK member is going to be on the extreme end of the racist side. We all have our own biases, values, and ideals. Its learning to reflect on one's biases, and to correct the behavior, or at the very least, understand its motivations.

The WWE is cutting all ties with wrestling legend Hulk Hogan ... after finding out about him angrily using the n-word to describe someone who was dating his daughter.

Our sources say the WWE fired Hogan after learning of a transcript of comments made on his sex tape. Hogan is in the middle of a lawsuit over the tape ... and the n-word remarks are expected to come out once the trial begins later this year.

The WWE released a statement Friday morning saying, "WWE terminated its contract with Terry Bollea (aka Hulk Hogan). WWE is committed to embracing and celebrating individuals from all backgrounds as demonstrated by the diversity of our employees, performers and fans worldwide."

TMZ has seen the tape ... and on it, Hogan is discussing his daughter Brooke's music career. He repeatedly used the n-word while talking about an African-American guy she was dating.

Hogan's attorney tells TMZ ... Hulk claims he was NOT fired, and actually resigned from the WWE late Thursday night.

Guys just spoke with Terry/Hulk. His racist  comments from 5 years ago are all a work, it's part of a storyline for Wrestlemanina in Texas. He is trying to set up a match with Shaq, who's a native  Texan. The racist angle was the only way he could turn heel.

This will be a big money event.
