LOL, look at NOAA's temperature map. They just ignored the arctic and antarctic because they didn't fit the preferred hypothesis. Just more crap science from the Global Warming fraudsters.

Far more red than blue.. "average global temperature"- local temps don't invalidate. Climate vs weather...???

The antarctic was wayyy below average the last month which, if included, would have torpedoed this breathless press release. Because science, I guess.

from the author of the study enjoy:

In a sense, there is no such thing as climate change denial. No one denies that climate changes (in fact, the most common climate myth is the argument that past climate change is evidence that current global warming is also natural). Then what is being denied? Quite simply, the scientific consensus that humans are disrupting the climate. A more appropriate term would be “consensus denial”.

There are two aspects to scientific consensus. Most importantly, you need a consensus of evidence – many different measurements pointing to a single, consistent conclusion. As the evidence piles up, you inevitably end up with near-unanimous agreement among actively researching scientists: a consensus of scientists.

The question is not if the earth is getting hotter....it is.
The question is if it's man-induced....well probably not.

NOAA: Hottest July on record confirmed, warmest year possible

(CNN)—[Breaking news update, 11:16 a.m.]

The average global temperature for July 2015 was the highest for any month since record keeping began in 1880, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration said. The first seven months of the year also had all-time global record highs.

The latest global temperature data make it likely that 2015 will be the hottest year on record, the agency said.

lol....yes. Global warming, climate change or whatever they're going to call it this week is complete bullshit. Hope this helps. I read something last week that totally debunked that.

Yes, yes. I also think that humans are affecting the environment. It would be foolish to think otherwise. I just happen to disagree on the scope of that effect and, more importantly, the absurd policy prescriptions for the effect. I further believe that the political forces pushing hardest for global warming and its punitive policies are the very people that stand to gain the most monetarily.

And I believe that the policy prescriptions are designed to cripple, if not outright destroy, western civilization.

And so, I not-respectfully disagree with the 97%. And even if it were 100%, I would disagree with all of them. I do not give the slightest fuck about the "science" shat out by a person with monetary gain on the line.

Your response appears to include exaggerated claims and immunity to new evidence.

What you're saying is that in addition to the research being bogus universally, the scientists are also aligned from a policy perspective universally.

Please, let us know how 97 (or 100) percent of climate scientists have coordinated this political agenda?

How does this work?

Where do you get your data on climate if not from scientists?

Very strange, as most of the climate skeptics are on the payroll of the oil and coal industries.

here is the thing: more CO2 in the atmosphere means more energy trapped in the atmosphere and oceans.  More energy in a (mostly) closed system means more extreme expressions of that energy.  More extreme ranges in temperature, bigger hurricanes, bigger blizzards, bigger droughts, bigger floods. Coastal cities will flood more often.  Existing farming areas will produce less food. Hunger and flooding will produce more migration, more wars.

Get your backyard bunker ready, unless you live in NYC or south Florida, because you'd drown in it there.

I don't think that any of your apocalyptic prophesies have any more validity now than the last 20 or so that have been wrong. I don't live in either place, but I wouldn't be sweating if I did.

Google it.  Palin blamed man for the climate change.

Asked about that view by anchorman Charlie Gibson in a clip played on "Nightline," her initial response was: "I believe that man's activities certainly can be contributing to the issue of global warming, climate change."
