Yeah, but most if not all of them are not competitors.  Someone persuing an advanced degree in nutriton that is also a competitve bodybuilder is a different story.

No. Having a degree in a specific subject doesn't mean you know what you're talking about in that subject. I know plenty of people who have degrees in biology and I know more than they do about it without a degree. Alot of other things come into play than the degree itself. For instance the person and if he actually remembered what he learned. For instnace the university. For instance the teachers. Alot of things. Having a PHD in molecular biology doesn't mean you know about molecular biology.

OMG you guys are so stupid it hurts my brain.  We are not talking about the frat kid who got thru college with C's and forgot everyhting he knows after the test.  We are talking about someone who graduated with honors in BioChem and got into a PHD program.  So if you can't learn from getting an advanced degree in a subject and you can't learn it using your body as a teaching aide (layne does his own prep and was pretty damn shredded at his last contest)  then how do you learn a subject like nutrition.
