2.5 billion dollars isn't enough for Markus to be able to keep a woman.
He needs more help than that. His physique, mindset, lifestyle etc

I'm assuming he is too depressed due to the loss of his child (minecraft becoming mindcraft(

Found a great girl, but she's afraid of me and my life style and went with a normal person instead.

His mindset is part of the problem. Why not pay for the most beautiful, high-priced escorts that money can buy? He should save the companionship and trust for his close friends and family.

  • Hows life? Please, do tell.
Serious ! Billions of dollars gets you way more attention from the girls than a muscular physique.  This guy could be swimming in pussy if he so chooses.

It's one thing to pay for a woman. It's a completely other sensation when you feel the emotion of woman lusting over your flesh.

The only thing women will be lusting for with this guy, is his wallet.

Devilsmiles job is to get Markus in such good shape (almost as ripped as Shizzo), and help him with his mindset and personality, that Markus will be able to feel and experience that feeling to be wanted even if he was broke.

Being loved even without Anderson Silva-money.

But I think that is part of the problem. He probably wants a woman who will want to marry him/be with him for HIM, and not for his money.

The companionship and trust from a significant other (husband or wife) is much different than that from a friend or family. Its not necessarily a better type of companionship and trust. Its just a different kind, something you can't get from a friend or family member. In the same way that you may not be able to get a certain type of trust and companionship from a wife or husband that you can from a best friend.  Each relationship is different in its own right.

I am guessing when you're worth 2.5 billion dollars, its hard finding someone who wants you for you and not for your money.

Woman don't actually lust after a man's flesh the way men do with women (some women might but they are the exception, not the rule).  The majority of women aren't motivated by sex the way men are, what turns women on is money and power.  Most women fake a powerful libido to secure favors from the man they have targeted for whatever favour she seeks.  Women are far better at faking almost everything compared to men, they can even fake sexual arousal and interest if it helps their agenda.  Given the option of a homeless muscular ripped dude and a flabby, slobby billionaire, the money man wins everytime.

Chump change, women can never have enough money, they seek more, more, always more.

So, you do understand, at the basest level, where his isolation stems from- as billionaire specific as it may be.

I get it. I also don't think it's that easy to come up with a great second act, regardless of how much talent and brains you might exhibit with your first big hit idea. Look at how many people from the business and entertainment worlds fail to do it. The phrase "sophomore slump"  was invented for a reason. I was just reading about the original youtube guys a few days ago. They've been trying feverishly for a hit second act, but all of their output since youtube has been pretty mediocre. I've never played Minecraft, but it seems to be mostly about a novel concept and those aren't easy to do.

The same situation happened with the Napster guys. I think both of them managed to rebound well though.

Good Point.....speaking of the Youtube guys, I think these dudes should not have sold youtube to Google....come on, they sold it for less than $1 billion a few years ago, and as of the 3rd quarter of this year, Youtube is now worth a whopping $26 billion and they're thinking of having a separate youtube section where you'll have to pay in other to view copyrighted materials, name it musics, movies.......

Perfect examples! The one guy, Parker, was basically an investor. He went on to invest in facebook and that was a huge payday for him. The other guy, Fanning,  was more of the creative mind. He made very little from Napster and created business after business that didn't really do to well. The last thing I remember reading about him was that he had started this social app called Path that was always in the midst of some controversy. They had apparently gamed the itunes app store to appear more popular than they really were and were hemorrhaging money at the time.

I'm not so sure I agree. Youtube still has not turned a profit and it a company like youtube didn't own the site- a company that can afford to write off its losses- then it probably wouldn't exist today in its current form.

Well, nothings keeping him from getting a job somewhere.  Work is important to a complete life.  The difference is he could work at something he enjoyed for a few hours a day to have purpose.  Instead of the rest of us schmoes who work 60 hour weeks to eat.  Fuck him.  He has choices.

Yes and no.

There is no indication that his isolation is due to his inability to come up with a "great second act." In fact, his isolation appears to be more relationally-based. From what has been said on this thread, hes never linked his isolation to his work productivity (coming up with something as lucrative as minecraft).

With that said, there are many ways to decrease isolation, which he has is not taking advantage of. He can easily volunteer his time to any organization that has a computer system--maybe help them overhaul their system, to make it easier for them to keep their records. It doesnt have to be groundbreaking, but its just an example of just ONE way for him to decrease his isolation, if his isolation is relationally-based.

Hes choosing to sit home and eat M and Ms.

Bill gates is worth 79 billion dollars and his time is invested in all different sorts of things.

Again, as VOD said, with who he is, he can work ANYWHERE. Shit, he doesnt even have to accept a paycheck. There are millions of ways to give back. Hes choosing to complain on instagram.

He should use his money to support Donald Trump in the upcoming election!

Buy votes etc! Help build the wall!

Or maybe build some housing for immigrants that can house at least 1000 people in northwestern Sweden.

Not that much north though, maybe around Grytan, Östersund.

Maybe another facility further north close to Laisholm or nikkaluokta.

Even though I didn't quote it, I was referring to your previous posts where you said he could easily come up with another game. I don't really think that's the case.

For the most part, I think this is one of those situations where people take something too literally and too seriously. It's not really that hard to see that great success can change things. Obviously, he goes out and has people in his life, but it sounded  more like he was complaining that getting everything you think you want is not all it's cracked up to be.
