Diabolique ..... The original French version..

On opening nite in Northern California two people in the audience had heart attacks and from that day on the theater had to pay to have an ambulance stationed at the front door or else the city wold close it down,

Most likely pretty mellow to today's audiences since the Texas Chainsaw Massacre  series
and Night of the Living Dead.

A not too scarrie movie but pretty damn sick was the original THE FLY with Vincent  Pricee in the final scene when you can hear a little voice yelling, "Help me! Help me!" and the camera shows you a little fly with Vincent Price's head attached.

And he's caught in a spider web. And in the background you can see the spider coming in his direction.

That was how the original version went but I think that they had to change it due to the sick reaction from those who saw during it's first week run.

I don't know how the second version ended.

lol, a movie where two beautiful women dominate over men is erotic novel to me

No, not Vincent Price's head on the fly.  How about recommending the film instead of giving away the ending?

Released fifty-some years ago, and you're bothered by spoilers?

Yea, The Fly is an old movie and I did add SPOILER ALERT  at the top but somehow I erased it before sending it out.

But I did meet Vincent Price a couple of times while running the beach in Hawaii.

He walked. I ran.

Very polite, he said. "Good morning!" as I passed.

Another individual Keith had never met.

DAMN! Ugly, Now I won't go see them.

But actually ..... Spoiler Alerts work like some kind of reverse 'psychology'.

No matter how much I see one , and no matter how much I don't want to read one, I just can't stop reading one.

SPOILER ALERT !!!!

WE ARE YOUR FRIENDS ...... The four best friends since grammar school days are no longer friends at all when they finish high school and enter the real world seeking fame and fortune.

The movie explains why.

I bet ya read this  even though you did not  want to.

CRIMSON PEAK ... OCT RELEASE DATE

SCRIPTED to be one hell of a scare!

Nothing seems to scare me anymore except when someone jumps out of  the closet (yea! Old school shit!) or else when the young girl home all alone  opens the refrrigerator door and when she loses it, the monster,  killer,  giant rabbbit  is standing there staring here int he eyeballs with a bloody hatchet in its hand.

Non-Disclosure agreements were signed by all Crimson Peak personnel (pretty damn common now a days) so nothing more will be said until the Oct 9 .... I think that is the release date.

The older a horror film is, the less likely someone has seen it. And now that you know you botched the ending, you should be less glib.

I'm too old to genuinly get scared of horrormovies these days.

Only thing that causes a reaction at times are startle-scares, but they last only a millisecond.

It's not like when we were younger and a movie could really scare you.

I was a real horror-movie afficionado back in the day, and im still looking for that movie that can really scare you.
Scare you and not gross you out that is. Not looking for movies such as Salo, Serbian Film, Human Centipede and the likes.

I remember a movie that scared me when i was younger, and that was "Without Warning" from 1980 with Jack Palance and CSI Caruso among others.

Unfortunately, it doesn't create any of that emotion these days,
the only emotion i get is nostalgia and remembering the old days :D

thank you, i was looking for the title of "without warning". I think i watched it once 25 years ago and never forgot it.

Best era for horror = 80's. Because horror was no hype. Only low budget film where talent creativity replace money.

Dude, that scene is cinematic legend, line's been popular culture since before JFK. You're taking 'spoiler' too far.

Also, which ending did I botch?
