Check this song out.

You know, I've always liked Lenny's style and attitude more than his music. Sorry, gotta be honest. Just doesn't hit me.

UNTIL he joined Chains, that is. Love what he's doing with them. Best frontman recovery since Sammy with VH:

Just play along, fuckface.

 :D

No video, but listen. The most haunting/soothing, depressing/uplifting, contra-fucking-dictory song ever written. Beautifully tragic - here, enjoy/suffer:

"Man in the Box" was good... So was "Would" from that Singles movie.

Never ever liked Soundgarden... No idea why.

Tell me, how is it possible you picked my absolute least favorite songs from each band? We shall never share a jukebox, friend.

LOL!
This has to be some sort of "all blacks look alike" joke...
But AIC is doing well in my view and most are way too hard on the new signer. Not as bad as STP's new front man. Fuck, he sucks.

DuVall is amazing. They couldn't have found a better replacement. Only criticism is coming from the Layne tribe, those who can't let go.

He's gone, kids, this guy's the next best thing.

I've mentioned this band, here, several times.

This past Summer, they opened for two bands mentioned in this thread, Lenny Kravitz and Rival Sons, and, by many accounts, smoked them both:

Many accounts?

Just Googled the first few pages of Souls/Sons reviews, and while many are complimentary, none even suggest a comparison, much less any smoking. No more than a few sentences each, really, no clue where you got this.

i think they're great, especially the drummer, but they're just a powerful two-piece is all. How much damage can you really do with that?

Having seen pretty much every significant act of the 80s and 90s, only prime Pearl Jam matched what these guys bring to the stage. Tool/Rage had the energy, Black Crowes/Blind Melon, the soul; only PJ had both, like RS.

'Course, I'm biased as fuck.

That guitar solo is freakin awesome in the Ratt video. Man o man, I miss good guitar solos like that, especially with that "wailing sound".
Warren Dimartini is a very under appreciated guitarist.

I understand. Everybody has their band.

That said, the London Souls, in a short time, have built a following in London. They just got another gig opening for a pretty hot band. My guess is that the Souls will be headlining there before long.

Sad that both these U.S. bands had to go overseas to find an audience. Shitty American taste killed rock in the States, the f'n dummies.

That's probably the most accurate statement.

There's a reason why great bands only do a few shows in the US when on tour.

The US audiences are busy listening to Katy Perry and Justin Beiber. :/

Agree, we took a huge shit tastewise somewhere near the millennium.

My band here (from Long Beadh, CA) is headlining all over Europe, selling out everywhere, right. Finally come home to play in Anaheim: 30-minute opener for Halestorn.

Fucking Halestorm for Christ's sake.

Couldn't believe it, like Zeppelin opening for Nickelback. Bullshit.
