« on: September 05, 2015, 05:01:30 AM »
I mean legal Otc supplements, other than traditional whey or creatine

Cr is THE only supp which works.  Everything else, including protein, only work to line the pockets of those who market them.

Ginseng in combination with caffeine is a great natural Test-Booster. I'm not kidding, give it a try.

DHEA is a parent hormone which supplementation w/ doesn't cause endogenous suppression, as w/ medically prescribed testosterone use most certainly does even w/ hypo-gonadal men.  Exogenous hormonal supplementation of a non-parental hormone will always cause a negative feedback in the HPTA loop.  This sets into motion a host of ill health effects.  Which explains all the ambulance chaser TV commercials.  DHEA is NOT a bb'ing hormone.  Its an anti-aging hormone.  Anyone who mega-doses DHEA thinking its going to increase muscle mass is mistaken.  It truly is an OTC miracle I am sooo grateful for to the FDA.

Any supplement that work ends up being classified as a steroid and taken off the shelves.

Creatine makes you hold a little water, which gives you better leverage, and so, a little more strength while you are taking it.  That might translate into a little bit more muscle.

Ephedrine, for energy and focus.  But it is basically a lesser form of speed.  Most any stimulants are the same.

Other than that, I'd say nothing.  All that smilax, gamma oryzynol, MetRx, Cybergenics, MuscoMXT, Metabolol, etc. type stuff is snake oil.  They should put the people making it in jail as fraudsters and scammers.  Instead they spend money busting people selling the things that actually work.

Protein powders and weight gainers "work" in the same way food works.  More calories and protein in them might help you grow and they are more convenient than cooking meat.  Meat is better though.

"Building Muscle" does little or nothing to slow or stop the age process.

Attached are my latest DHEA levels which are closer to where I want them.

So you are saying it "slows the aging process"?  Another bullshit amorphous unmeasurable claim.  Translation it doesn't do shit?

The male penis secretes large amounts of creatine during sleep. That creatine travels to the kidneys and converts into human growth hormone. The growth hormone travels back to the penis and makes it hard. That's why it's important to get lots of sleep.

Basically if they are legal they don't work.
If illegal they work.
If you they work and are legal they will become illegal soon

I have not heard this

here's the link to the dht study

RESULTS: After 7 days of creatine loading, or a further 14 days of creatine maintenance dose, serum T levels did not change. However, levels of DHT increased by 56% after 7 days of creatine loading and remained 40% above baseline after 14 days maintenance (P < 0.001). The ratio of DHT:T also increased by 36% after 7 days creatine supplementation and remained elevated by 22% after the maintenance dose (P < 0.01).

The original Cybergenics.   But even that didn't  work in the state of NY.    Despite all the muscle mags ads and flooding propaganda approach, they were actually required to put on their package "This product will not work for the residents of New York".

The original MetRx worked too.  But only if you got the original formula.  Which was so powerful it couldn't be mixed together and had to be sold in two separate containers.

Citrulline/Arginine.

Also makes your dick hard as a rock as a  side effect.

But yeah, creatine, a good multi and some whey is probably all you're going to "need" as a natty guy. And even then, the gains will be minimal.
