I notice I can regularly achieve delayed onset muscle soreness in my legs, but rarely in other bodyparts. The other week I experimented with doing more volume for my back, essentially training back twice in the one day, doing almost double the amount of sets I usually do. My lats were sore for days. I am beginning to think volume training would probably be worth experimenting with, I know Jay Cutler always did tons of volume training and it seemed to work for him. I can never seem to get sore triceps the following day, not sure if it is my training or other bodyparts taking over during exercises, no matter what I do I can't get my triceps to become sore the next day, I was thinking of trying volume with them also. Is d.o.m.s even necessary? Does anyone at getbig train using lots of volume?
