That's shit. No real Greek eat's Tuna. It's a pussy move.
Replace Tuna with nice lamb or chicken shwarma or shish kebab and you are on to a winner.
Don't want no lip from you about it.
Allow it.

Not so easy to eat lamb and chicken shwarma everyday, when you weren't born with your dads pin number tattooed on your cock  ;)

Anyway, you should try that recipe. It is delicious.

Nowadays a lot of fish is highly contaminated aswell.
Especially big fish like tuna.

That's one of the reasons I'll choose canned salmon over tuna. It's lower on the food chain so it is less likely to contain pollutants.

Here's something funny. I hit the gym this morning and ran into a guy I've spoken to a handful of times, bro's in excellent shape. Based on a few things I've posted in the past, he figured out who I was a while ago. So, we laughed a second about that, then he brought up this thread. He said that I should think about canned mackerel if I'm going to do canned fish because it's slightly lower in fat, slightly more nutritious, tasted about the same as salmon and is way less expensive. And he's right about nutrition and price. I will pick up a can later to see if I like the taste.

My tuna: One can tuna: dollop of miracle whip; big *squirt* of sriracha; sizeable TBS of garlic. Mix. Then top/add sliced cucumber, berry tomatoes, sliced onions, and jalapenos. Microwave a naan, or another flatbread and you have a great lunch.

At the risk of bumping, I am begging that this thread be deleted.  Every time I see the words "canned salmon" I start to wretch.

Bad news guys. I stopped by the grocery store on my way home from work and they didn't have any canned mackerel. They don't sell it. I think it' has a bad reputation for some stores. If I see the guy again , I will ask him where he buys his. He probably lives not too far from here.

Just made the salmon, tomato, onion, and oil recipe and much better than dried canned fish! Thanks BigCyp, any other good ones appreciated!

Al, trust me on this (but if you don't like lime please skip):

Firstly make sure you buy tinned tuna 'steak' not 'chunks', and try and get it in spring water not brine or oil. Just chop some onion as small as you can get it (maybe less than a quarter of a small onion) and then chop up 2 tomatoes into say 1cm cubes.

Drain the tuna and get it as dry as you can, then simply stir in the raw onion and tomato and a good drizzle of olive oil, some salt and black pepper. Just before eating it (usually on it's own or in a wholewheat pitta) cut a lime in half and squeeze on as much lime juice as you prefer (I use the whole thing).

Takes me about 3-4 mins and it's delicious.

Hmm. Skipped over this before. As it's getting rave reviews, will have to try.
The fact that you emphasize getting the tuna as dry as possible tells me you have some insight into how to used canned tuna properly.
