i just eat a snickers bar, most protein bars have the same amount of sugar and calories as them anyway, only with protein added.
i get plenty of protein from food, snickers or quest? no brainer really, they can keep their measly 20g of protein or whatever the hell it is.
probably soy, wheat or pea protein regardless.

Some of my favorite bars, apple pie is very tasty and mixed berry bliss good too, don't know others... They tastes good to me, much much better than many other brands, some of the very best, but i discovered them recently so i don't know how they were before...

so depending on which "industry standard" assessment they chose, the fiber was overstated between 50% and 1000%

sounds like the assessment methods are, perhaps, a bit flawed?

anyway, no surprise if quest is lying.  they're just gonna be under more scrutiny, naturally.  so many nutritional labels are obviously full of shit... half the time the numbers don't even add up correctly.

First batch is to hook the consumers so they taste great then what happens is they quietly re-formulate using cheaper ingredients jack the price up a bit hoping the consumers eats the product with a bit of nostalgia in mind and doesnt notice it isnt the same.

They changed the quest bar formula
They use corn fiber now
The bars taste like crap and are rock hard
I called to complain and they told me there was a mistake and they used the wrong protein
They are sending me 2 full boxes of the correct formula which I think is really cool of them - no questions asked, no receipt needed

It seems like they ruined the formula!

Hmm, I bought two boxes the other day and had the same problem. I called Quest up, told them the problem and they are going to replace the two boxes I bought and add another one for free. I was told that the protein that was used in their bars was a different type of protein and that's what caused the rock hard and just shitty taste.

With that said, it's pretty cool that they are gonna send me three boxes for free and they even paid the shipping cost. I can't argue with customer service like that.
