Haney blew everyone away...In person, Haney was absolutely the winner every time...And it wasn't even close...Pictures don't do Lee Haney justice...

Doubtless you are correct but I prefer the physique of Paris over Haney as I do that of Zane over Haney or Columbu.  And Arnold over all else save Steve Reeves.

Bob is a very smart guy. He knew his limitations. Didn't have that addictive personality like most in bodybuilding have. In the offseason he would stay probably around 240-50 while Rory would blow up to 300.

I am as hetero as they come, but I also understand (true) homosexuals do not choose their sexual orientation. Just as I did not choose my heterosexuality. 

That they are sexually attracted to others of their own sex isn't something to hold against them.

We make homo jokes (I'm guilty), but fact is, a guy like Bob is, by all accounts, a very decent fella, and we should hope for his continued happiness.

My Q is... how do you KNOW what he was taking?   Cause he told you?  Pros lie all the time about their dose.  And Bob lied to many people about use at all, as all pros do.   So how do you know he wasn't just telling you "oh yeah, 400 mg of this..." and shooting another gram or eating handfuls of dbol at another time?

Pros lie all the time to 'non-trained' people about using at all.  Why wouldn't they lie about the extent of their use to people they casually know in the gym?

Truth is, he probably didn't even have the best genetics of white bodybuilders of his generation, let alone the bros. If he was not a militant homosexual we would be saying he had a great build in the Zane tradition and leave it at that. Instead, he's being talked about as the uncrowned, greatest Mr. O of all time who simply didn't reach those heights because a) he sucked dick on the regular and therefore was, for some reason persecuted by the poofs who judge bodybuilding contests; and b) he nobly wouldn't take the same amount of drugs as everyone of his peers did. You're confusing sociopath for psychopath.  Sociopaths MO is about not attaching themselves with people.  They're not generally manipulators at all.  They'd rather not even have to deal with you. It's the psychopaths who are the true manipulators, with agendas.   Paris is neither.

I was at my pool when the Kuzzalina brothers just got back from California
visiting people in the scene and it taking them about an hour to convince me
that Bob was gay. This was in 85-86 when I placed 3rd at a Teen Nationals
as a natural.

Bob was praised so much because many of the people in power at that time
started lifting because they saw Steve Reeves in the Hercules movies.
Stallone is one of them.
He was the modern day Steve Reeves and gay or not, any woman, man or chimpanzee
could tell that there was a beauty to his body and facial features.
