Joe, I don't have any but I sure walked on a lot of them.
I think those were Zuver plates that he used to cover part of the floor in his gym.
I trained there a few times and even recall meeting "Rhino" when he ran around the gym in his pajamas.
Those were the great day of bodybuilding and I do regret that I didn't take more photos in that era.
I do recall that there was a night club in the Costa Mesa area not too far from Zuver's called "L'il Abner's" which was sort of a Dogpatch for the So Cal lifters. Some of the cocktail waitresses actually looked like Daisy Mae and one or two like Mammie Yokum.
Anyone old enough to recall them places?
